With the new runs out for purple coin glow and sand, surf, and silver stars, I'm thinking about changing the 71 star route... again. If I included starshine I would have to get the comet medal, which would probably waste 15 seconds in that level. Still probably worth it though, the other two being so short. Purple coin glow would also include getting the comet medal in Sweet mystery, but that wouldn't waste too much time. If I included those stars, I would have to think up four to remove. Any suggestions?

Huge Trouble with Big Wigglers and Big Wigglers Speed Run could be removed, getting the comet medal during "In Full Bloom" would keep the comet medal counts right. Also, dropping the two main stars from the Melty Monster galaxy would work too, as I'm pretty sure you can get the scret star from the first mission.
Of course, those stars may not work because of required star counts to enter certain galaxies, but I think it would.

1:11.xx (or 1:12.xx) - Silver Stars in the Purple Pond (Cloudy Court Galaxy)
Thanks to packattack for the strategy on this level. I'm never sure if I'll land on platforms without spinning, so when I did the clouds to the luma-launch star, I wasted time and did a spin onto the planet. You need to be lucky to land on the platform without spinning.

I checked out your segmented 71 star run, clamshot, and noticed a few things:
Levels that are very long and probably shouldn't be included in the run: Chimps stomp challenge, all slipsand, boulder bowl, honeyhop, cosmic cove secret star+2nd star, battle belt, boo moon 2.
Also, read the section in the knowledge base about comets, and also check the your comet medal counts, this route wouldn't exactly...work.
You should try to include some more comets, many of those are short, and you skip over some short stars.

I already know. I have a YouTube Channel (OameGver) but I've never been able to make videos and upload them (edit: only have videos made using computer). Soon I'll upload a speedrun of Clockworks Green Star 2 (I'll use my sister's webcam for help :D).

That's my fastest record for it. I've never been able to beat it after I got it. If I'm lucky I might beat it in the video.
