spread the dirt to the populace
Well then, I'll be live shortly with a Mystic Quest SS attempt! My last try on that was terrible, so I'm curious to see how this goes...
No streaming tonight though, I'll be playing Mortal Kombat with some friends and testing out their custom sticks with the arcade button layout.
However, tomorrow I'll be at Bar Battles. This is looking like the biggest "small tournament" ever...over 200 players pre-registered from all around the Midwest and East Coast, and Justin Wong will be coming! The guy who won the UMK3 tournament at Summer Jam last weekend will also be there...in fact, we may well get a bigger turnout for MK than Summer Jam did!
We also have a major dark horse for SSF4, one of my favorite players period: Jug a.k.a. Guyofkaillera from Buffalo. Hands down the best Gouken in the world, he had an extremely close match with Justin the last time they played in vanilla SF4, and he's beaten Yipes & PR Balrog in SSF4 at East Coast Throwdown. This will be his first non-local tournament in months, so it'll be interesting to see how he does...bet on him & Justin in the finals imo.
I believe the tournament will be streamed, so I'll be sure to hook you up with a link when I hear the final word. I'll be entering UMK3 and HD Remix, as well as Guilty Gear if a side tourney for it pops up. The guy running it has talked about not streaming, but I'll do everything I can to convince him tonight! =)
