ITS FIXED NOW. these new links work. im using a different site.ive also edited my first post with the new links. im terribly sorry about the previous link.
these new links are on a different site, filefront, and should work now. ive also submitted a request to them about keeping my file permenantly (sort of like archive.org, only for gaming related things) im really very sorry for the delay, and i am anxious to share this video with you guys.
remember, you need the xvid codec to play this movie. if you still have problems, you might want to try using a media player called Media Player Classic, available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ (scroll down on the page and its there) if you still have problems you might want to try another codec pack called FFDSHOW availabe at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow
everything is good to go gentlemen, what did you think of the video? again, sorry about the mix up earlier, but the link works fine now... let me know how you like it please
im really happy you enjoyed it... i was so freakin angry that the first link i posted didnt work, i felt that everyone just forgot about it... it almost broke my heart ; ) *TEAR*
thanks again for the kind words and im glad you liked it! i thught about doing a silent hill 4 run, but that game is a bit different, mainly you have someone following you around for the second half of the game... so i dont think i will, but anyway im happy you guys FINALLY saw it.
oh and if the guy who did the silent hill 1 run is reading this and decides to criticize my choice of difficulty....while i GREATLY respect your work... lets be honest here. you didnt have much of an end boss fight. you got the 'bad' ending, which is fine, EXCEPT the HARDEST boss of the game is removed, therefore reducing the diffuclty of your 'normal difficutly' choice. while silent hill 3, normal difficulty changes a BUNCH of stuff, mainly the fact that heather can fall down holes, the memory of alessa boss fight can block bullets, and the final UNAVOIDABLE boss fight is VERY challenging.
I won't bother to criticize your run. All I will say is that I would prefer a speedrun for silent hill 3 to be done on normal action and starting from a NEW game (skipping the intro scene is essentially not playing apart of the game).
Anyways once I've finished playing through Silent Hill 2 (currently got my time for normal/normal down to 53 min and 43sec) I may decide to start playing through Silent Hill 3 (normal action) starting from a new game (not next fear). If I get around to doing a silent hill 3 speedrun then we'll see how long your record lasts.
I definatly enjoyed this speedrun, don't worry. I have alot of spare time on my hands and I think I've seen 90% of all downloadable speedruns arround
I do enjoy speedruns, of games I like, alot more though. I was thinking about speedrunning "Undying" but I gave up on that idea as I know I screw up till the end
I have seen a Silent Hill 4 Speedrun about 1 year ago. Sadly I could never find that website again...was an asian guy who did it and the speed was downright insane.
Actually those ghosts are fairly easy to avoid most of the time when you really hurry and know where to go.

but i did start on a new game. true, i didnt play on normal, but i DID play on a NEW game, not an EXTRA new game. the borely haunted mansion adds time as well as the intro in the amusement park. when i played no holds barred silent hill 3, as in easy EXTRA new game using the submachine gun, i can get 45 minutes clear time, instead of 49 minutes.
