Got the bootleg version of my prize ready for view. Do note that it's taken from a phone so the quality is meh. It's not done yet as it still needs a layer of clear coat and other stuff I don't even know. My friend is working on a second copy actually that's slightly different (color scheme, haven't seen it yet). It's more of a wood panel thing than a cut I guess. I'll post more pics when they're actually complete but just wanted to give a small update. Man, marathon is fast approaching!

Last time I couldn't get my donations out for prizes, but this time I've got them for sure. I'll be donating the original SNES Zelda ALTTP instruction booklet (corners are basically permanently bent - the book must have been stored like that for at least 15 years) as we as the FFVIII mini guide (slightly warped), which I believe originally came with the game. Pictures attached, ignore X-Men strategy guide (can't be bothered to take a new picture) unless that can be donated, too thumbsup

Updated the first post. You guys are prolific! Shocked

I put the Brentalfloss CD with Super Mario 64 because I noticed there were quite a few Mario songs on it, and that game didn't have a prize. I'm going to go through the schedule and see what other games don't have prizes so I can sort out the "whole event" things that aren't the grand prize bundle a bit better.

EDIT: Decided (for now) that Naegleria's new Wii should go with Kirby: Return to Dream Land (popular game, good time slot, on Wii) and that Carcinogen's Genesis grab bag should go with Earthworm Jim (classic Genesis game, no other prizes yet)--still tentative. I was torn between this and the Genesis Sonic games, but they already have prizes... not sure which is better, honestly.

Moooh threw me some money to request a couple Earthworm Jim perlers to be made, so I have a couple planned. One is Evil the Cat and the other is going to be a surprise for Earthworm Jim 2. I'll post it when it's done. I just don't wanna say what it is until it's done.

I guess I should also post that puwexil wants me to pick up the IoG perlers, so I'm going to do those too. I'll get started on them hopefully Wednesday.

I had mentioned providing some of the Nintendo Worlds of Power books for prizes. I looked at the game schedule and there were 3 that were either "novelizations" of a game being played (Castlevania 2 and Metal Gear) or part of a series being played (Mega Man 2). I suggest giving away CV2 and MG with their respective games and MM2 somewhere in the Mega Man block. I will be mailing the books later today.

EDIT: Mailed them this afternoon.

Also I just remembered, Mike Uyama has volunteered to throw in a copy of Earthworm Jim for Carcinogen's Genesis prize bundle, so now it makes more sense to be given away during EWJ1/2. Smiley

Just dropping in to say that my artwork is printed, matted, and is being packaged to ship either today or tomorrow. The expected delivery date is next Thursday. I'm just crossing my fingers that the lady at the UPS store doesn't sneeze on them while she packing. I would've liked to post a photo, as the black matting makes them look pretty snazzy, but I didn't have a camera handy. Oh well.

Anyway, thanks for letting me contribute.

Anyway, did some simple perlers tonight for some games that, as far as I know, don't have any prizes yet.

Contra Sprite is from Contra 3. Looking for Contra 4 sprites, but this could always be shared between the 2 games.
Double Dragon 3 Jimmy, I think his name is? I don't know, to be honest.
Game Boy Marios For Super Mario Land. Technically one of them is from Super Mario Land 2, but I don't care. It wasn't enough to just do SML1 because that's too small and simple.
Portal I don't think I'll get an orange portal done, but if I do, I'll update. You can draw for these separately if you wish, but the cube is kinda small. If I get an orange portal done, orange and blue should go together.
Cave Story Characters These guys are small and should probably be given as a set.

I keep checking games that don't have prizes to see what I can do. I don't think at this point I'll be able to do another time-consuming project like Naija or Momohime, but I'll keep working until Monday or Tuesday and then ship out what I have.

I also have to scan my Athena pic. I'll get to that soon.
