Crawlathon WR, get down on my level.
As much as Autism sucks, I don't think OAR has helped us much with our previous events. I think we could use a changeup.

Doctors Without Borders is my vote. It was already pretty successful with JRDQ, and I'd love to see how much more they can do now that we're pulling in more money.

Also wanted to post more of my reasonings for picking one over the other:

1. amfAR spends almost as much on management as DWB does, despite bringing in around 1/8th as much. That sort of bothers me.
2. Similar situation for Habitat for Humanity, except their financials are even more muddied with affiliate payments and such. They bring in a LOT of money, but a larger chunk of it goes to non-housing related expenses.

Overall, I know all the charities do plenty of good, but I prefer a charity that has a laser-sharp focus on putting the money where it belongs. Maybe this will influence others to look into the charities more closely.
There are tons of charity drives to support research, and not nearly enough charity drives to support action. I'm all for community outreach, advocacy, treatment, services, etc.

My initial reaction is to support Habitat for Humanity, since I have volunteered for them in the past to repair homes for individuals with disabilities.

However, it looks like there is more support for Doctors Without Borders in this thread, and this will likely be the easier of my 2 preferred charities to get into the marathon. So I will throw my support to Doctors Without Borders.
No pain, no gain
OAR is great, but, as Cool Matty said, they haven't shown much support. Mostly, they've put two press releases up -- oddly, the second one being much smaller than the first. Other charities have helped with food, come to speak, and overall done their best to help. I still love OAR, but I don't have one of those wow-I-can-never-leave-you kind of moments.

I gotta choose, huh? My choice would be between Doctors Without Borders and amfAR. Research is extremely important, but so is action. Gah...

There were 1.8 million deaths from AIDS in 2010, and the number of infected people has never gone down. I gotta go with amfAR. I'll honestly be happy with any of the charities, though.

I will go with Doctors Without Borders.
I'm gonna put my vote toward amfAR.
GOnna put my vote towards OAR for a bit of a personal reason Cheesy
After looking at the links and the posts in the thread, I'm going to vote towards DWB. All things considered, it seems like the best choice.
You play to win the game!
I will go with doctors without borders as well.
I'm a big fan of charities that emphasize efficiency, so I vote DWB.
MSF.
The Dork Knight himself.
Doctors Without Borders.
Based on what I've read, I'll go with Doctors Without Borders.
i'm going to vote OAR.

Strange days, incredible days
Doctors Without Borders.

I kind of like the idea of SGDQ changing up the charity each year, raising money for a variety of different causes. I also wish we didn't have to choose, all four of these are great causes.

Throwing my vote on Doctors Without Borders.

I'm very much in favour of never touching running systems, but I haven't looked at the support OAR gave you guys for previous SGDQs in any way nor compared it to PCF or JDRF. Also, I tend to not like charities that promote research against diseases in everybody's mouth as much, because I feel they are ineffective. So my vote would go OAR > DWB > HfH > amfAR.
Weegee Time
Chalk up another vote for Doctors Without Borders.
I'm the keeper of Time.
I'd like to say Organization of Autism Research. My job involves working with kids with autism, so they might donate knowing I'd be there supporting a cause in their interest.
Doctors without Borders
Professional Second Banana
I'm going to vote MSF/DWB - we've worked with them in the past for JRDQ and the only problem I'm aware of was them not accepting Paypal donations (which I understand is no longer an issue); and I like the idea of supporting action-based charities along with the research-based ones we've primarily supported thus far like PCF/OAR.
My vote goes to Doctors Without Borders.
