At the moment i dont know more times and Panda's run need a Video to confirm If i should add you to the list massage me (VultuZ) on twitch with PB time and Video
Btw new Any% "WR" for maybe 1 Day (1:32:32) http://de.twitch.tv/vultuz/c/2001437 Its just with that trick but to Prof. Ruffleburg, i do more attemps later today or tomorrow!)
Panda's run is still faster for the time being although it won't be hard to beat with the new glitches. It's pretty funny that people really need/want video proof for a time that can still be improved by 3 minutes (without the new omnitopia skip).
Thanks guys. And damn, for some reason I never considered it to work directly on the final boss door, as for all the other doors you have to be inside the metal/glass area to enter them. Turns out the final boss door is an exception to this rule, so that's another huge timesaver. Good job AsFar.
Btw, that same principle can also be used to save a couple of seconds in the Pyramid by switching to the boy right after hitting a ground button to open the gates. That way you not only skip the slow camera movement back to the dog, but you can also move the boy during the entire gate-opening cutscene. Unfortunately with the additional factor of having to switch on the first frame after hitting the ground button instead of anytime you wish, this probably makes it too difficult and luck based to be worth trying outside of TAS.
Yeah Saturn, the pyramids thing is really hard to pull off as I've tried that one personally while experimenting with the despawn/reset of enemies in the area. Awesome find though, you've basically removed the last "luck" part of the run, which means I'm about to destroy my current PB when I get back home from where i'm goin today.
GL to people aiming at new WR's, I'll give us a time to really shoot for soon-ish.
One other thing of note...you can't claim the WR if you're running on Emulator I'm afraid. Emulators gain a full minute over the console version meaning you gotta do it legit or it's not at all :/. Still I'm not going to disclaim what you did Vult! I'm just saying the rules be the rules! *Still AWESOME time man :)*
Oh...and now that I know this...I have a sub 1:25 to get
Act 2: -Nobilia purchase: 1 anni amu, 1 atlas amu, 1 pixie dust, 3 wings (technically you can do 2, but a safety is nice for maze later) -Ruins first -Mids second, still should pick up the wings by the call bead here
Act 3: -Still pick up Aura -wings at beginning of maze -Aura before going down staircase after Footknight -Aura x 2 for 1st Gauge -Aura x 2 for 2nd Gauge
Act 4: -Wings at Carl
We still have an extra call bead to use, I'd suggest hypno'ing Sterling unless you're just feeling ballsy and don't mind a reset that fair into the game. Up to the player of course.
I'm currently updating my guide to have an Atlas Only route, since this is basically the standard between everyone now, the other route will be retired completely as it's totally useless and automatically 15-30s slower than Atlas Only. What this means is that new players are going to have to deal with the RNG-fest right off the bat like the rest of us, it's such a harsh world isn't it...
EDIT:
And by request, here's the write-up for the WR improvements. I'll start doing runs tomorrow morning, hoping for a 1:21:XX.

Do you have evidence to support this? I'm asking for educational purposes since I know nothing about this game, but I do know that it doesn't have an improperly-emulated Cx4 chip (MMX2 and MMX3) and isn't named Star Fox... We've never observed any other games to be faster on emulator than console, and a minute would be a huge inaccuracy. Even ZSNES likely isn't an entire minute faster on games like ALttP or SM, and ZSNES is the most notably inaccurate emulator that people still use.
I saw that Vultuz is using Snes9x, which has a much slower framerate (59.94) than console (60.098814) on every game by nature. If someone is ever using ZSNES, just kindly recommend them a better emulator (Snes9x, SNESGT, or bsnes). For Snes9x, Super Mario RPG and Yoshi's Island are some examples of games with enhancement chips that are confirmed to be a lot slower than console (extra lag in addition to slower framerate). There are also games like the Super Star Wars series that have a ton of extra lag on emulator as well. It doesn't seem that Evermore even uses any enhancement chips, so how is console not the fastest version?
I'm interested in hearing what makes this game different, since if a 90 minute run is already losing like 14 seconds to emulator's slower framerate alone, then where's the insane inaccuracy in Evermore causing it to be ~74 seconds faster from lag alone...?
I just discovered a funny way to Softlock the game. I tried a few things to make any use of this glitch, maybe some1 here has some ideas. I tried to use Wings, also tried to use pixie dust and softlock it in the desert.
Take a look at the Video and read the description for more information!
