Could a faster time be achieved by using death warps?

Yeah, probably slightly faster. However, you lose all your mind-points when you die. And there's no bounty from ktwo for a run with deaths, or glitches. God bless him.

If using deaths and glitches can produce a faster time, I hope that someone eventually runs the game using deaths and glitches.

Okay, but it's going to look ugly in some gamers view. I believe those things would alienate the regular gamer who just wants to see a run of the game he completed years ago, to relive his memories of the game. At least there are still separate categories for those kind of things at SDA, but I'm concerned with the development. The 'Majora's Mask - The right way' thread illustrates this rather well: http://speeddemosarchive.com/forum/index.php/topic,9739.0.html

I don't understand the point of alienating the potentially biggest audience out there. My Zelda II fastest completion run is a problem in that regard. Deaths, warps, and no candle, makes the game look almost unrecognizable from how the regular gamer remembers it. All caves are unlit etc.

E.g.: If Usain Bolt could run the 100 meter faster with "drugs", would you like him to use them? Is it okay if some runners use the drugs (those who embrace them) and some don't (those who reject them on moral grounds), they would compete on unequal terms then, and those who embrace the drugs would (probably) compete on unequal terms of the previous/past "runners". Or isn't that a problem at all?

A run with deaths and glitches would be a separate category, so who gives a shit.  Also, analogies are gay.
Yeah, whatever, as long as they stay separate categories. Also, mullets are straight.
