Thank you.

Last one for a while, I promise Tongue (I will be too busy with Brawl to find typos).

Should be "Super Star".

Sarcasm obviously doesn't come over well on the internet <_<

He meant flinch.

I already fixed it a long time ago, when it got posted. Also tenfold's request. I just don't feel like bumping this thread obviously. Later, I will go through the whole thread, but I'm taking it easy for now.
Don't know if this would be the best place to point this out (note: I didn't read through the rest of the thread. Excuse me if it has been mentioned before)
On the Silent Hill 1 download page, both Normal Quality and Low Quality videos are labeled as being 88.9 MB in size. LQ is 88.9, NQ is actually 256 MB

Best 'Recover the New Parts' scenario time as Proto Man: 3:05.66 by Alex 'Aqautiger' Nichols on 23.05.08

When you click the link that brings you down to the correct section of the page, it says this...

'Recover the New Parts' scenario as Mega Man 3:05.66 by Alex Nichols.

Aqautiger should also be AquaTiger.
Visually Appealing
on the same run's comments, it has this line:

Quote:
This route's special item doubles your maximum weapon energy, as well as enhancing the character's fully charged shot.

that's a leftover from the Rescue Roll comments and doesn't apply to the Recover the Stolen Parts run.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
Ugh, I hate big html pages, I always make dumb mistakes. If Enhasa doesn't fix these typos, I'll fix them when I get back home (10:30 pm EST)

EDIT: Turns out I had some free time right now. The page should be fixed. If you don't see the fixes, refresh the page.
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.
On this page, it should say this: "Choose to fight for the light side and defeat the Dark Lord..."

The Metroid Prime Hunters info says "It is also the first 3D, first person perspective shooter game on a handheld platform" but I know at least Ecks vs. Sever for GBA was before it - it's an original game, not a port like Wolfenstein.

i guess by saying 3d we mean real 3d, not fake 3d like doom. but i've removed the sentence since it's apparently causing confusion.

Ok, I spent some time today and now everything from this thread has been taken care of.

Big thanks to TheVoid for compiling a list of mistakes from this thread for me, and to groobo for compiling a different list of game list-related mistakes. Now it's time to standardize the pic.pl

That's nowhere near as confusing as 2D/3D meaning blink effects/no blink effects. Sad Don't we also have a ton of false positives and probably also some false negatives? Another topic though, sorry.

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon doesn't have a time listed next to it in the list of runs, and it doesn't show up in the list when you sort by run time.
everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music
That's intentional, and a side effect of the newish policy of "normal" mode runs not being required now.

The only two games this applies to right now are COTM and SSBB. SSBB will get a time when someone does a Subspace Emissary (SSE) run, which I'm sure will happen eventually. COTM originally had a very crappy normal Nathan run, that was done purely to satisfy the old requirement. Once the new rule was in place, soteos asked us to take down the normal mode COTM. Honestly, someone should probably do a replacement. I remember Persona had an incredible run which got up to Dracula but then burned out. People like soteos even offered to pay for shipping to get the cart sent to hammer out the last segment for SDA (even offering to give Persona full credit), but this never happened, not sure why.

The game list actually went down by 1 for a similar reason just a couple days ago. groobo's Okami NG was also done purely to pave the way for NG+, and it's an eyesore, so groobo asked for it to be taken down. He had a NG+ that he submitted and then canceled for improvement, but when he finishes that again, Okami will be another game without a normal mode run. Although, the Okami port on Wii apparently lets you skip cutscenes in a NG (although it fixes some sequence breaks), so maybe someone will want to do a new NG on that version.
All right, I'm tired and a little confused right now, so I'll ask this. I'm doing a Professional Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts run, but Professional isn't an unlocked mode, it's available from the start. Would it still be allowed to have a time listed?
everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music
Like you said, it's available from the start and actually makes things harder, so yeah it would. Basically think of it this way. If we were still under the old policy of "normal mode first," and the game wasn't listed yet, would the run be allowed on the site? If so, it'll get listed for the time.

BTW I haven't posted in the thread yet, but I'm really looking forward to the run! Smiley

Just to add on to this a bit, Persona’s run was magician mode. It’s understandable if he wanted the run to be all his own work. And I can sympathize with burning out at the end. Doing the last segment as a skeleton is very hard and very luck intensive. I'm not sure I would have had any better luck.
CotM has had so many runners interested in it that I thought my run would be beaten soon enough, but alas, no cigar. I think chances of a new normal run are slim for now.
Everything's better with Magitek
I just had someone point out a mistake with my Dr. Mario 64 hard story mode run.  On the Dr. Mario 64 game page, at the top it says the time is 24:37, but the time is actually 24:27.  (However, the time is correct lower on the page by my comments.)  The stat id for the video also has the incorrect time.  Can't believe I never noticed this before.
I'm the guy who complains yet never submits XD
