The game came out yesterday, and I'm surprised to not find a topic on this already. I've found a couple of timesavers, and some glitches that don't help, but I'm gonna continue looking for more. I want to start making some route videos soon too. I believe under 15 minutes should be possible.

Just played through this game after seeing the thread and it was absolutely phenomenal. Looking forward to any runs you might do.

I have a faster route than that, but I'm staggering what I post on YouTube because I want to be consistent with the content I'm publishing. So, I'll be posted soon.

There are several levels where you can run on the ceiling like that, but it usually is much slower than doing it the normal way.

Guess I should consider the word "optimal" very carefully if it isn't skipping the entire main puzzle.

You seem to forgot that my specialty is finding 'optimal' in puzzle games where the objective is to get from point A to point B. This game, however, is different, since my perspective creates the path. So, moving and looking very carefully is key to making good routes and running them quickly.

Categories? What do you mean? I'm going for a single-segment run since this game is short and there aren't complicated glitches (so far). The only glitches I've found are a Fast Fall glitch and a Half Visible glitch.

Nah. These maps are too short. I wouldn't recommend it. If each level can be completed in less than a minute using the intended routes, then it shouldn't have an IL table IMO.

Edit: Plus, the 'world' area affects what your position is as you enter the level. So, it wouldn't make much sense to do an IL.

Your routes are amazing, but I have two notes.

With the ventilation room, you can be half in the box and drop right into the goal at the right angle.

Also I'm not sure about the exact time the compression artifact route saves.  When I tried to test it I was getting similar times for doing it normal and your route.  Maybe you can enlighten me.

Anyway, cheers to a great game.  Here's my current fastest run @11:13 ( I went off the timing method used in the SRL race ), can be maybe 30 seconds faster without mistakes.  I'm hoping there will be a way to go sub 10. http://www.twitch.tv/turbn/c/1784803

Thanks! That gives me a great baseline to start with. Based on what I saw there, I'm willing to bet that 7 minutes or less is possible. So, I'm going to be aiming for that when I start doing runs. I already have much quicker routes than some of the ones you used. Also, there were a ton of mistakes which took a lot of time. This'll be a fun game to run. I'm excited! :-)

I just made a pretty large discovery that might change certain possibilities of routes in the game. It also might make speedrunning the game more difficult if we do find a quicker route that utilities this 'feature'.

Edit: This level/route doesn't use the discovery. I'll post the discovery later. This is just the newest video I uploaded.

Yep, no longer a contender for route planning. It'll be fun to watch from the sidelines, though.
