did you actually COLLECT the bombbag or did you use the upgrade glitch?

Define "collect."

We just played bombchu bowling, and got the upgade.  We didn't have the bomb-bag or bombs before that.  We had the silver gauntlets, though.
Zelda Rulez!
Wow, you guys are really destroying the game Shocked
That was awasome, now we can done almost anything and when this is over what are left, nothing. Now you can get beat almost those adult dungeons as a child and do many other stuff too :-/

I think what is left when this is over, OoT doesn't have anything to do after this :-/

But it's okay for now.

Can somebody please tell me where we are going now, because I haven't been visit there in few days Smiley

I've had bombs drop in the graveyard off thrown rocks while trying to skip the bean.  It is kind of random, but bombs do drop.

I think what they are looking for are ways to get bombs without first collecting the bombs in Dodongo.  Bombs aren't going to drop randomly without getting that chest first.

I know that, but DK64 mentioned someone working on the TAS said it didnt happen after you got the bag.  Or maybe I'm being an idiot again.

Also, is it normal for your game to freeze whenever you do the endless sword glitch?

Well, in the TAS, we never collected bombs.  We just got the bomb bag (upgrade) from bombchu bowling.  And apparently we get random bomb drops.  You can at least buy them for sure.

Is the Bottle Adventure worth considering now?  You don't have to even enter the Shadow Temple anymore, and you shouldn't need Silver Gauntlets either.  You would only need to enter the Fire Temple if you absolutely need the hammer to beat Ganondorf, but I don't think it's necessary.  You would only have to beat the Forest Temple without even entering any of the other temples.

Shadow is necessary (sp?) for the light arrow cutscene.

We skip Fire, and Water temples.

I suggest you look at the routes pages:

Please ignore my information on bomb drops.  I have come to the conclusion that I have no idea what I am talking about.  I'll stop with the worthless posts taking up space now.

He was saying that if you did Ganon Early and Bottle Adventure, you could get the Light Arrows on B and use them to beat Ganondorf without having them. However, Bottle Adventure is version specific, so either we ban version 1.2 and the Gamecube version, we make separate runs, or we don't use the trick.
Well the only part of Bottle Adventure which is Version specific is the way to get a Deku stick on B. Stealing the rod seems (!) to be impossible for other versions. And the swordless link method requires, that you already fought Ganon.
So, find a new way to free your B-Button and "die Sache ist geritzt" (always wanted to speak German around here^^)
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.
^Well, I'm pretty sure I read about Swordless Link without stealing the rod or fighting Ganon... I'll look into it.

Never mind, it involved Bottle Adventure. <.<

Has anyone verified that the Bottle Adventure (Light Arrows on B) really works on v1.0?

@Acryte: GuanoBowl needs detailed instructions on how to do the bomb boosts for Shadow early.

Apparently the bottle adventure is possible on all versions?

http://www.jaytheham.com/zc/oot.php?page=ootba

Or is this not the bottle adventure?
So the Dodongo's Cavern route with bomb bag becomes

SC 1 - Entry chamber
SC 3 - Store groundjump
SC 8 - Press switch
SC 10 - Make staircase
SC 11 - Armos/switch room
SC 12 - Bombchu boosts to bomb bag
SC 16 - Get bomb bag
SC 17 - Light the eyes
SC 18 - Bomb boost to the block
SC 19 - Push the block onto the switch
SC 20 - Blow open entrance to boss chamber
BOSS - 1-cycle KO with 2 bombs + crouch stab?
http://www.zelda.com/ocarina/pdf_files/02_dodongo_ocarina.pdf

So how much time does this take?

The fishing pond method only works on 1.0 but the Ganon method works on all versions and would be useless because that's what we need the bottle adventure for.

here is the problem... you don't have enough air for the bomb boost to block... unless we get it over the hole in the ground (I'll have to test that...) otherwise I think it wastes tiome to do that... also we need to time both methods for doing spirit w/ and without bean...

Also, don't forget the bottle adventure requires BEATING forest and watching the cutscene as well  Lips Sealed

Also Kazooie, we still have that big roadblock in Shadow temple remember?  ;)... I suggest we get to work on that.... oh and how about doing forest temple as kid? Can we I think we can...? And, we also have to glitch it so that Nabooru loses her "Talk" action that way we might be able to get into the hole without her dialogue. And also, we need to get past the second Iron knuckle in spirit and we can also look for a glitch for the koume kotake battle too if there are any that is...

I am now in the air over the hole  Grin
let's see how many bombs it takes... crap needs slingshot ammo (I started at 3) gonna reset and collect some off the grass... then try again

and instructions on beanplant - activate sword glitch off tombstone and then climb up fence. make it so when you backflip you will stop against the wall. pull bomb, shield drop the bomb and immediately backflip against the wall. if you time the timer right (get a good counting number and speed for yourself) then you will get it. Now repeat 2 more times and then backflip. You are now up top.

that switch room is too difficult and so far I can't get the double bomb backflip that you need to do this. if you get the first the rest should be easier but... I can't seem to get it.

you can't make moat with bomb... so we either activate sword glitch on the special crop, or we use the sword glitch to cross the moat with bombs... whichever can be done fastest. We also need to make sure we can do this with no bombchus at jabu jabu  Angry

You don't need ammo to do the trick.
I love Zelda!
I have to say I am absolutely stunned with these latest discoveries! Props to you all! Grin

Is there anyway to use this new trick you did in the Deku Tree to be in mid-air to get past the gate in Gerudo Valley using the Cucco rather than doing the jump slash?

I don't think so, because I'm pretty sure you can't guard against an angry Cucco.  It can knock you back no matter what.

I'm gonna test jabu w/ no chus but bombs... and also... I have tested and done King zora with only 4 bombs  Grin

It can be done (miniboss skip)... but only from the left side. It used like 5 chus but we can cut that down by 1 more... and also 1 more chu is used to store the sword glitch (those boxes don't work). I'm pretty sure we can get that down to 4 if need be and then the 1 for storage.
New Miniboss Skip (No Bombchu)

NM we store the sword trick off ruto... though the platform moves slightly slower (though that may help some... and also makes it so you can't fall off when throuwing her...  8)

if you are really fast though you can throw ruto up there and jump back and then get the sword glitch off a bomb and save a full platform ride's time.

What roadblock in shadow temple?
With this new glitch we can beat water temple and forest temple as a child, when you beat water temple game not freeze and don't remember forest, if I remember corretly game will freeze when link speak with deku tree sprout Smiley I know to way how you can beat spirit temple as a child but when you get to last iron knuckle room there is nothing as a child, cutscene doesn't start as a child and you are stuck :-/ Now shadow temple are easy to done as a child without crooked but it's need tons of bombchus Smiley

Why we need get past second iron knuckle battle?

Now I gonna test some oot glitch stuff Grin

Segment 5 done.  I'll upload it tonight.  I got the Cucco jump on first try, though I took slightly longer to align than the video on YouTube (HQ Cucco Jump).  I also didn't clear the gate smoothly, Link grabed the edge, so I lost a second there).  Also, I need new damn video cables.  For some reason both my GF and mine are worn out to thell, and video cuts out for a second or it does some warped color thing.  Thankfully most of my segments are spared, but there is a good second of "black" while the sound plays at one point.  I believe this also happened in Segment 2.  I'm checking eBay for new cables.

I'll work on Segment 6, which should be done fairly quickly (since I know the Haunted Wasteland by heart, and the trick that is hard is at the start.

So...need a course of action here once I reach Spirit Temple...or else I'm going back to redo Segment 4.

Also, somebody needs to explain how to do the trick in Deku Tree...what are you pressing and/or holding?  You can just be sidehopping with the shield out...
Everybody loves Hypnotoad!
Actually, I believe that is all you do.  Once you've activated the infinite sword glitch, of course.
