Yep, he made a slight error, and forgot about that.

He's says gonna do a second runs after he's submitted this run. There were a ton of tricks found while he was making his run, so it's already not optimal.

But the TAS is impressive to say the least.

How that TSA's route go? when he get magic meter and where he use bombchus or do we get more bombchus?

As somebody have sayed Magic meter is meaby better get as adult I think

Shadow is definitely the highlight of the TAS so far. 8) Also, I can say with confidence that its final time (from power-on to the last input, per conventions) will be under 2 hours and 40 minutes, and likely under 2 hours, 30 minutes by SDA timing.

Maybe getting magic as an adult isn't such a bad idea after all. So, after receiving the Goron's Ruby, you'd climb back down the trail to the village. Then, as an adult, you'd make the trip up Death Mountain Trail en route to Forest Temple...but is there a place where you could jump down to the Goron City entrance easily?

MWL - you can go get it, then go into the crater and then go through the entrance to darunia's room from the back I believe (will place you past the statue). That takes you to goron city. We still need to time it out though...

It takes 2 bombs to get into the castle w/out egg. so we can do that and then use the bombchu at Jabu Jabu and do the adult thing as long as we make sure that we don't lose time in transit.

It;s freaking insanely difficult, but you can do the bomb bag early w/ only 3 bombchus... meaning we can do both jabu and moat w/ bombchu (if you are up to this challenging crap)... and also can save time w/ adult thing probably. (I'll try to make a vid later). Okay there is a timing to where the bombchu won't run on the wall... I'm uploading that and moat right now.

Bomb Bag Early (3 bombchu method) <- I reccomend Emulator practice for this trick. I can imagine it being a segment ender.

There are indestructible boulders in the way in Death Mountain Creater. They prevent you from making a jump on the way to Darunia's Chamber. I think you'd need to apply one of the long jumping tricks to get through.

I will get Magic after Shadow, when I am going to Lost Woods. I'll detour to Darunia's chambe, use hover boots to bypass boulder, and then climb ladder to exit.

Then I will just warp to Spirit. Seriously faster than any other way.

Segment 9 - not sure about optimal, but I doubt the optimal is that much faster, as my movement was very good in it.

So, as it stands, I will just redo 4/6 later on.

I'll have segments 10-12 done by next week, and probably redo 4/6 then too.

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Before you do that, you should get confirmation that the gate to death mountain is open as an adult even if you didn't open it as a child. It would be really bad to get through shadow and find out you need to redo a lot of child stuff because that gate blocks your way.

If it's locked he can always use the hover glitch with bombs. It's probably faster than the long as heck conversation with the guard.

Yes, it's open no matter what.

Also, as a child coming back from Death Mountain to Kakariko Village you can walk right through the gate. Only one side of it is solid.

That's cool, but I don't see how it would be of much use in a speedrun. Not to mention the number of bombchus that would have to be consumed.

If you use that glitch and beat that temple rigth way you can get that temple stuck and you cannot beat it anymore. I don't remember it how that route go :-/

I got this glitch from my friend and I don't know how this works. he sayed how to do it and I still don't get it works. I have version 1.2 and that guy how give me this glitch have version 1.0 meaby it doesn't work because I have version 1.2. then I tried download version 1.0 rom and tried it and still doesn't work.

This how you do it:
1. Press A to equip your kokiri boots
2. game will stop a while, about one second.
3. when that second is playing you should press right twice and then wait when that cursor come back to screen.
4. then press A equip then again and repeat those steps.

I don't get it work and if you get it work tell me right away!

Note: if you want to get iron boots you should press right only one time. This works with tunics too and not tested yet with swords ad shields.
