You would need to confirm that your run actually works on the bot first.
I think it's a good way to generate donations, like you only show the bot off if you reach a certain goal towards showing it.

Thank you very much! I'm really pumped about the call. My brother served in Tokyo, so he came over and dumped a bunch of his resources at my place. At this rate I could probably read through the entirety of the BoM in Japanese before I ever enter the MTC.
I can definitely come, seeing as I live in Utah.
I can join in on the Super Metroid 100% race. 1:45 or so in real time is a usual, so fitting in the 2 hour block shouldn't be a problem.
Also, I can play LttP. I am best at 100% (takes about 2:00 - 2:05 or so) there too, but I plan on practicing up on any% for a race if Opario is interested.

That's correct. Like I said in the Equipment thread, let me know if you need help setting things up. I can also help with clean up, and travel if necessary.
I'll go ahead and mark myself as coming, seeing as I'm 95% sure I will be. I'll be staying with Reaif, so I won't need lodging at Essentia's.

What is the criteria for attending, I'm in Los Angeles, could drive others, I have never posted before nor attempted a speedrun but watch a lot of speedruns, thought the January event was awesome. I can participate in either L4D2 or Castle Crashers and most likely not slow down the others. Could bring a high performance gaming laptop. I would prefer to stay in hotel accommodations if there are any available nearby.

Hi Bloodweb, it's great that you are excited about coming to the summer marathon, but a lot of people who are coming to the marathon have been around the forums for a while and have been involved in the community. I recommend that you get more involved with the SDA community (post in game threads, verify runs) over the following months and then try to come to the next summer marathon or AGDQ.

I can't make it to the marathon either. My parents are both working tomorrow and I don't have a license to drive myself to Dunnius's. I'm really sorry for such a late notice on this and constantly flip-flopping on whether or not I can make it. Ultimately I'm going to be in the chat the entire time if possible, so if you guys need an extra mod it's the least I can do...
For now I'll just plan ahead to AGDQ2, I know for sure I can make it to that as it's much easier to plan for ahead of time and set exact dates. Again though, I'm really sorry I can't make it as I know it really messes up the schedule as far as KSS goes and Ninja Gaiden.
