I'd mainly work on the normal stuff, as far as I know, but yes I'd be down for it, from what I've seen of the mod...
Haven't played this game in a while, that would all change for at least a week if we get a server. If only I had the upload the handle double digit connections. There would still be the big issue of bothering, but at least I'd have the option!
I saw some videos on it earlier this year, I think. This is far more then your usual Portal Gun mod, the server admin knowing how all this junk works would be critical.
So let's see, the server has been down since December, Bjorn is suspiciously absent, Mage hasn't uploaded any videos since before June. Are the Swedes dead?

Oh. Eh...after TFC (which is presently very, very broken) I doubt I'd be able to go back to vanilla. Thing is, can anyone host a server, vanilla or otherwise?
I have commitments and goals in life beyond providing you with free content, Lefty
I'm a tekkit junkie, very experienced and somewhat interested in a server. I doubt that Bjorn will run it, but if someone gets one up I'd gladly play along or help anyone who's struggling to get started.
So, I lack the upload to host a useful experience for any real gathering of SDA folks. Following that, I'm willing to rent a server for us, if more then a few wanted one, and the price wasn't over the top. Any thoughts? Do only certain rentaservers allow complex mods like technic and the like?
I can make a tutorial for all you find folk if you'd like. I'll youtube it of course, and if a server does get hosted I can certainly help people in person as well.
If you need another admin, MrSparkle, I'd be willing to help. Assuming people think I did a decent job last time...
I'm experienced with Tekkit and can mentor anyone interested or help moderate a server, but I don't have the connection to host one. Besides, I'm in Norway.
1.3.1 has been released, BTW, so who, if anyone, hosts a server remember to stick to 1.2.5 unless absolutely necessary, since 1.3.1 will take a few patches to make playable.
Really? I imagine with that big an update, it'd be a mess and a half. If you're wondering why I haven't updated and checked, it's because my internet connection is utter, utter shit. Guess what "single" player now requires. Yes, I know SP only needs local internet, it really just sucks that much ass.
Although I'll admit, the changes look nice. Still, I'm waiting for TFC to become "playable" again, although really the only problem presently is a "minor" detail and the fact that I'm really done with SP MC in general.
I think that the snapshot idea helps a lot, and dinnerbone has been doing great work. 1.3 is better than most update releases, although it certainly has some problems. I dunno, I like it.
So I've been playing on a server with some hallmates in my dorm for the last month or two. How is everyone liking 1.4.2? The usage of the command block is quite helpful, especially because it makes stuff like creeper damage and fast travel alleviated and possible, respectively.
