I'm from America in the middle of nowhere, woo!

I like to run Glitchless OoT and New Game Re4. Ide like to learn any of the Mario RPG's sometime as well. I actually just made an account today because I wanted to do a fun run of WoW f2p, but that's gonna take a little bit of planning.
Greetings from the east coast of USA!

I joined the forums because I was inspired by the insanely successful SDA marathon this past week.  I'd love to run Earthbound/Mother 2, though I'm pretty intimidated by all the talented people that have already done it. Lips Sealed
Hey everyone, my name is Tyler aka Zecriah on Twitch! I've been watching speedruns now for a little over two years now and never thought to make an account on the site. I'm new to actually doing speedruns but plan on running Zone of The Enders very soon!

Hey everyone ! I'm Greyzlee from france. I've been interested in speedrunning since 1-2 years ago when I first discovered about it during a marathon. I'd really like to put myself into it after this insane AGDQ and this demonstration of community spirit and how awesome it is. I think I'm gonna start speedrunning limbo, after the finals end. If anyone is interested in racing or in sharing tips about the game, feel free to PM. Smiley
See ya !

Hello from Canadaland! I'm RevyDutch and i've been lurking around on twitch this past year, but i've been into glitching and speedrunning for a while. I kind of suck at games, but I am working on running Minish Cap any% as well as a game called Advance Guardian Heroes. Unfortunately I don't have equipment yet to stream, but when I do you'll be able to find me at http://www.twitch.tv/revydutch

I also do music if anyone's interested, and you can find my depressing sounding music that's actually just about anime characters here: http://revydutch.bandcamp.com/
Hello, I've been interested in peed running since I first found out about AGDQ the year before last. I've been lurking around Twitch watching people run games and finally decided I'd try to do it myself. Right now I'm starting to learn Alice MR, but I'm sure I'll move on to other games eventually. Maybe the Suda 51 games if that would be possible. I'll probably start streaming my practice in the near future at http://twitch.tv/endlessfragment
Nothing cool enough yet
Greetings, my name is Gerald. I have only recently taken an interest in speed running games myself. I am still very unfamiliar with any processes that are necessary. So until then I will just spend some time to here to learn. And beginner tips would me much appreciated =D

P.S. Zelda games are top notch.
Hi all, Echo from Sweden here.

I've been lurking a lot since the AGDQ2013 since I really suck at the whole forum thing but I'll give it a go.
I really admire the whole speedrunning scene and I'd probably need to lurk and learn some more before I figure out which game I'd like to give a shot myself. (SO2 is a strong contender since I own the NTSC version of that one).

I work in post production 3D but have a lot of varying skill-sets and interests.

Nice to meet you.
Good afternoon (Well where i'm at it's afternoon),

I generally go by Ultimeci, i'm a 25 year old Dutch Sign Language student, second year now. I've been wanting to get into speedrunning for quite some time, and after last AGDQ i've made the choice that I want to see what I can do for next years.

I can do some programming, have a controller on PC and can do some streaming at twitch.tv/ultimeci when I do feel like it, and spend a lot of my time translating and signing stuff.
Hey, Chauzu from Sweden here.

Been watching speedruns for a while and the AGDQ this year finally pushed me into starting speedrunning myself.

I'm starting of with Nazo no Murasame Jou for the Famicom for the first months, hopefully I'll get my recording stuff together so I can hopefully get a world record run submitted. Wink
Kill The animals this is a speedrun

Just begun speedrun!
Hi, Seven from France!

I just start to watch some speedrun 3 years ago with 88mph. I am 19 years old, student in programation. This year I finally decide to start some project as make a game, create a game studio with a friend and recently start speedrun as beginer.

I will d my first try with one of my favorite game of my chillhood: Lost Kingdom 2 in a mutiples segments speedrun. Maybe soon a thread about it!
Hello everyone, I'm Heimdall from France !

I 'be been watching speedruns for about 2 years now (thanks to Nesblog, and MisterMV lately), and time going on and on, I started to want to this myself. I might speedrun some Castlevanias, but my main idea now is Metroid Fusion.

About me, I'm 20yo,  currently studying computer science to get en engineer diploma. I've been playing video games for about 15 years, and discovering this wonderful community has been one of my best experiences, and I now want to be fully part of it.
Hello! I go by Altar, from Canada!
This might get buried in a few weeks, but I figured I might as well post here as well.

I've been lurking and watching on SDA for about 2 years now, and working on speedruns of my own, but never really thought about posting them. Now, I really want to post my work.

I work mainly on PS1 any% runs, the original Spyro and Crash Bandicoot trilogies along with some other titles, like Toy Story 2 and Tomba!, and I've been shifting my efforts to Nintendo titles I feel deserve more praise, like Super Paper Mario and Sonic Heores (Yes, I actually really enjoy these games)

About me, I'm an 18 year old french Canadian, studying Pure & Applied Sciences, with a hobby of video games, and now I'm excited to hopefully meet some great people with the same hobby.

Cheers!

Hello!

I'm Deathtome. I got inspired to do speedruns of Final Fantasy games from AGDQ 2013. My goal is to speedrun games I like on a professional level.

I am going to focus on Chaos Legion, Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X, XIII as well as Legend of Legaia & Legend of Dragoon.

In the near future I'd like to get a segmented speedrun of Chaos Legion submitted here on SDA. I'll give it all I've got!

Thanks. Smiley
Techno is life

I am Lanayru (69 points for the one that figures out where I got my name from) I had a account here for a few months but sisnt really post anything, I speedrun gta vice city stories and the ballad if gay tony, I am currently learning a couple of more games like twilight princess, crash team racing and the older hitman games. I am born in canada but my family background is polish and I would rather be called polish than canadian, I love v6 engine noises and I live airplanes, I am also a dj and live mixing songs togheter and put on alot of effects, I enjoy playing around with programs and touching things so playing games and djing is perfect for me.
Hello to all the fast people :D, I'm Ben, from Wales, obviously the best part of the UK

currently I only run Pokemon Red, but am possibly looking at running other games at some point in the future, at least once i hit that sub 2hour run (so damn close at 2:01, just can't get teh urn right now Sad )

Unfortunately I currently don't have streaming capabilities due to limitations with my internet connection, though hopefully i'll eventually be streaming and showing off my somewhat fast skills (ok, they aren't that fast Tongue )

As is probably already obvious, i use way to many emotes...
Title screen? Reset.
Hi, all! Waite from the tundra that is Maine here. Got into speedrunning around SGDQ 2012, but was too enamored with playing Halo competitively to really give it a shot myself. About 3 months ago, I started running Super Meat Boy Any% and having a blast doing so (hunting down a wild sub-25 time right now). My next goal is sub-2 hour Super Mario 3D World.

Happy to be joining such an awesome community after lurking for so long!
i know.. not quite a porygon
Hello everyone. Matt or Lvl87_Porygon here from the forests of Pennysylvania. I don't run anything yet but i love watching all of these speed run and would like to get into eventually. DASH DASH DASH
Hi all!

I've been watching speed runs for the past 1.5 years, toyed with some Zelda runs and then finally decided to bite the bullet and make an account. I'm hoping to start running a few games that I think are a little less active as of late, but are particularly resonant from my childhood. I haven't started streaming, and I don't have the equipment to hook up my TV to my stream, so I'll probably start with just doing casual runs through the four games I'm most interested in on my computer until I've got a solid notion of each game's flow.

I'd like to start Mystical Ninja Starring Geomon for the N64, focusing first on 100% and then going onto Any%. I believe the current WR is from 2008 in multi-segements, but I'll mostly be focused on getting through it in single-segment runs.

During periods of exhaustion from MNSG, I'll be playing around with Rocket Robot on Wheels and Silicon Valley. Rocket is a platformer from Sucker Punch Productions (InFamous, Sly Cooper) with a lot of fun technical skill involved, as well as a pretty interesting movement/physics engine for the 1990s. Silicon Valley, which I have not played (or beaten) since my childhood is a hilariously odd platformer where you possess mechanical animals and attempt to exit levels. The former I'll start with 100% and then Any%, while the latter I'll likely just focus on 100%.

Lastly, I'd love to start Mischief Makers, which I believe peaches_ ran in AGDQ 2013. It is a side-scroller with a _really_ weird storyline and gameplay style.

Other games I'd love to do include Quest 64, Iggy's Wrecking Balls, and maybe some modern games like Terraria, Dungeons of Dredmor, or Trine/Trine 2.

I really hope to be truly involved in this community and look forward to future conversations with other runners! Cheesy
Hello all. Christofer from Sweden here.

Been a longtime lurker since...well the quake days, and that is a very long time ago :).
A big fan of Speedruns in general and have been happily supporting the community over the years.
Thou not a runner myself but plays a lot of games on a casual level, nice too meet you all. Smiley
Alright, time to stop lurking.

I'm Poorscythe, Poor for short. Been watching SDA videos for years, I honestly don't even remember when I discovered the site. First speedrun-related thing I remember watching was Quake Done Quick back in the day, and a Symphony of the Night speedrun was among the first I watched here. Been hooked ever since.

I had the privilege to attend this year's AGDQ for a couple days and say hi to some of my favorite speedrunners, including Golden, Duckfist, Feasel, Calebhart42 and Puwexil. I was in the room for the Super Metroid race and it was honestly one of the greatest events I've ever witnessed.

Some of my favorite games include Systems Shock 2, Deus Ex, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy V and more. I stream speedruns on twitch.tv/poorscythe. I'm hoping to dedicate more time to learning Super Metroid after that incredible race, as well as MMX, and hoping to learn FFV for a future FF relay or Crystals for Life marathon. Drop by the stream and say hi!
Hi everyone.

I've been watching speed runs since AGDQ 2012 and only recently have gotten into doing runs myself.  I enjoy watching runners on twitch and really enjoyed watching the AGDQ 2014 stream.  I currently run the PC game 140, but plan on doing runs of other games in the future.  I stream whatever games I play at twitch.tv/kozziiii

Nice to meet you all!
Hit Deborah Cliff with your head.
Hello SDA! I discovered SDA last year through a friend telling me about AGDQ 2013, and I've been watching the marathons since. I got into speedrunning around 2004 when I got the game Metroid: Zero Mission for GBA. I still run ZM, but my times are nowhere near the likes of Dragondarch and the other ZM runners on SDA.

After watching AGDQ 2014 I decided it was time to sign up! My interest in this community and going fast has piqued. I currently don't own any consoles except my 1st gen. PlayStation with cruddy AV cables, and my DS Lite with a broken L button Tongue but I'm planning on re-acquiring some consoles/games I had growing up so I can get running!

Nice to meet ya'.
