So, yeah. Perhaps we would like to plan a few things that is going to happen offstream for ESA.

And my first thing to mention is then of course always Magic: the Gathering. I'll bring my decks for casual playing (all of them except the Commander deck are Return to Ravnica block decks, so not really anything too crazy), and if enough people are interested, perhaps we can get a draft or sealed or something of the sort going. So if an event like that is something you'd be interested in, do speak up - I believe we'd need at the very least eight people interested for there to be any point in doing something bigger than just casual playing.

But, yeah, you know the deal. Got any tournament you want to run, some other event, anything you think people should know about beforehand that's going to happen off-camera - make a note of it here.

I'll be bringing my Standard, Modern, Legacy, Pauper and Commander Magic: the Gathering decks.
I've also been thinking about hosting a sealed deck tournament as that's something you don't need a premade deck for and it's relatively noob friendly.
I think a separate thread for that would be good though to check interest and see if/how many booster boxes should be bought for it.

I'd also love to be a part of some kind of Super Smash Brothers: Project M tournament if there would be one happening.

I'll most probably be holding a contest in a game i'm developing at the moment, where tight execution and speed is the key. If I can get the game to a decent state, I will setup a station and award prizes to people holding the IL records on the stages.

Yo, in the end of June the city of Skövde will open a swimming lake for the public that is like 200 meters from the venue and 100 meters from the Hotel so bring your swimming clothes! I will post pictures when they are done!

I'll be going to a con in Skövde (same locale as ESA) this weekend, and last year on that con there was a Magic shop there doing a bunch of draft plays. If they're there this time too, I can ask them if they want to come run some drafts/sealed at ESA as well, so we don't have to buy boxes for it and each person just pays for each draft directly to them, meaning there'd be less need to know in advance how many wants to play and easier to do it on the fly.

If noise isn't an issue, I'd vote to have some Guitar Hero/Rock Band stuff happening. I got games and equipment for PS3, but I got one guitar for 360/PC.

I'll be bringing my trusty 3DS and laptop with an array of games, I'll be up for some multiplayer!
I'll put up Pokemon (a tournament maybe?) as an example.

Pinball tournament. Either through The Pinball Arcade, Pinball FX2 or (IF POSSIBLE) an actual table. Actual tables are probably extremely rare over in Sweden, but if there's one around that would be an option.

Also heard that Chucat was thinking of setting up a fighting game tournament.

Drinking is not allowed within the venues. Are if you are intoxicated, you will be stopped at the door.

Drinking games can be held in your hotel rooms (not the mass housing)

So yeah I can play some MTG but I'm personally not interested in a big-scale tournament thing. More like one evening free-form gathering for me.

Does anyone play Quake Live? I already suggested this as a 2nd stream thing but I can tell you about the clan I've founded and show you some interesting new game modes etc. Hope this doesn't come off as too advertisey. If we've got lots of players suddenly, a tournament could happen. Send me a PM if you wanna see what I'm talking about.

Thanks for telling us about the pool! Now we can go try to blend in with the cool kids.
