It'd be much faster for you to encode it yourself. Anri-chan is a pretty easy way to do it, there's a forum thread for it in the tech support subforum.
For encoding I suggest you use Anri-chan, it's simple to use. Just chuck all those videos (Plus bloopers) in an empty directory and name them 1.avi, 2.avi, 3.avi, etc. and bloopers as the last numbered files, specify the directory in Anri-chan and they get all appended in order.

Chopping off 28 minutes from the current run is quite nice! Smiley Looking forward to watching it!
Good job! Now is the question: will it be a new category? Since you can't choose a character/class in this game (you just evolve as you play), I think your mage can replace the current run which uses a fighter. Problem is his run doesn't use LoA so he didn't have all those options like the spells you used and stuff right?
Good stuff man

The bloopers: make a separate video and link to it in the comments Wink
I would make a case that it is a different run. Most of the spells I use are expansion-pack only, so the two aren't directly comparable.

Also, would the official SDA timing be 2:10? or 1:58? The game timer reads 2:10 when Gom goes down, but the actual play time is ~1:58.

Why such a discrepancy?
Because the game counts the length of cutscenes even if they are skipped. There are about 12 minutes of cutscenes in the game, so the game time and play time differ by ~12 minutes.

If there's never a time when you can take an action that would consume less game time than real time, then I assume all runs would just be timed real-time.
Well, its been over 8 years since the last post, but I thought I will try my luck anyway Wink

Does anyone know where to find his run? I am currently trying to improve the existing run and his remark about a "jaw dropping shortcut" with the clone spell made me very curious! There are only a few places where I could think of skipping something:

- Wesrin Cross: by somehow opening the gate to Glitterdelve from Stonebridge... I managed to destroy the rocks on the other side, but the door is still jammed until you defeat the Giant Spider...
- Rotating bridge in goblin cave: using multiple characters like lightningx did in his run
- Chamber of Stars: in multiplayer, the door to the final chapter is not locked, I dont think you can skip it in singleplayer...

Besides those, the rest of the game is one linear path only blocked by a few bosses and except the Fury, you need to kill all of them to continue. If somebody knows what he meant or what other shortcuts there could be, please let me know! I just skipped the Fury and am on my way to Gresh, so there still might be a chance to include his trick into my run ^^
