I've redone the first level at least 20 times now..

25 FPS makes it hard to play also.. I just put everything back to the way it was before.

I absolutely refuse to do the first level again, so what it's set at now, it's staying at.

I'll post the video when filefront decides to start working again..
I'm only posting the first one. You'll see the rest when it gets posted on this site.

You don't get god mode with it.. I've died a couple times being really low on health, and with the artifact being used, I still died.

hmmm... i thought you get god mode...

But if you say otherwise. Then not.

but what do you get after the third boss?? 1st is SLO-MO, 2nd is Quad-Damage. The last one?

Wow! I forgot that you gain the stuff. After the first boss I was thinking you get all the stuff.

I got done with level 2 last night, so all I got was slow-motion.. My bad. You're probably right.
Anyway, here is the very first level of the game.. I would redo it half assed to show you that those flying skulls are damn near impossible to run by, but I just don't feel like playing that level anymore.. Here is the first level anyway though

And these flying skulls are definatly the most annoying anemys. I hated them.

And does have the artifact any tactical use? As i remember you always have enough souls to use it.
I cant remember only played through once. Way too much alpha, delta and other- labs. Wink

It'll have tactical use once I get the quad damage hehe..

I didn't even bother with it on the third level.. I just practiced it about 30 times, and ran as fast as I could.

I don't remember which level he was in.. IT's not the forth either. As for the heart, I hardly used it on the third, but used it twice on the forth.
The 5th seems straight forward. As in, you don't really have to back track to get anything done, you just keep going. Last night I was just running through to see what a time estimate was, and to see where to go.

I played this game twice. Once to beat it, and the other to explore a bit. I still don't remember alot of stuff about the game, so I'm trying to take my time with it.

And you definatly get god mode as 3rd power. I played through once more only to test it.

And can you run past enemys that much? There are a hell lot of em.

Ok.. I've got 4 more levels to do.. However, sometimes my fps drops quite low while using fraps..

Here is a video of the third level (currently the most choppy one of them..

If you can even stand watching this without your head hurting, then I'll keep going, if not, I'm going to have to put this off til I can get some updated hardware..

I still don't even know if I'm going to be able to do hell.
If I'm able to get through this one, I'm estimating the time of this run to be about 50 to 60 minutes. Could be a bit lower.. Then again, could be a tiny bit longer..

Hehe.. Funny thing about there being a ton of enemies.
The flashlight is the strongest thing you have when you go into berserk. It becomes soo much more easier. You get god on the 8th level.

I'm happy when i get over 35 FPS in doom3...
In the hell level im happy when i get over 20...

Anyway its watchable.

And whats the secret behind the the MIGHTY flashlight?

1 hit kills with the flashlight, (same with fists) but you can also see where the hell you're going. So it's smack, dead, no matter what enemy it is.. Cept bosses I think.

So it starts..
IF it's possible to stare at the ground while getting rained on by meteors, I'm gonna try to do it that way..
I know it's possible to take him out with three charged BFG blasts, and that's the way I'm going to attempt it. I've got BFG ammo to spare too Grin

Ok, it seems to be more then 3 to take him out. I don't exactly know how many considering I keep locking up before I kill him.

I don't even know why it locks up.. Everytime it does, my fps always seems to be doing good. It's like bad hardware is causing it.. I may need a better fan for my video card or something.. I don't really know, but it's starting to work my nerves.

Have you checked new drivers? And the 1.3 patch?
Sounds like either that or overheated hardware...

I beat the boss again today and i must say he takes a lot. I wasted my complete BFG ammo with artefact and he was still flying around... Chaingun seems to be a good option and/ or rockets. Plasma Rifle is definatly too slow.

Just my opinion...

OK... i live in beautiful switzerland. At the time im writing this we have around 0 - 5 Celsius...

Anyway, I heard too that the 6X00 series gets a little hot. It's like the 5X00 series with theyr huge fans.

BTW i really would like to do some holidays in a warm country at the moment. Wink
