Alright, I've got Hard Corps routed and successfully completed a run today (albeit with a continue on the final stage) with a time of 26m. A good estimate would be 30-35 minutes. I can certainly have this polished up by October. Doing Ray - Best Ending route because he's the more traditional contra character and Brownie is too easy.

I'd also like to run Cadash for TG16, that run is about 33 minutes or so as well if there is ever any room on Friday evening or Saturday. I'd prefer to run Hard Corps on Saturday after I've had some practice in though. Cadash isn't very risky, certainly doesn't run the risk of dying and losing your weapon :P.

Leaving around 6pm most likely, probably about a 3 hour drive or so, add another 30min to find the place.so probably 10PM, 11PM at the latest I'd guess.

Yo dude, I can't confrim until August if I can make it or not, but if I can make it, wouldn't be too far a drive, and I'd like to play Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. Any time is fine, and the run is about 1:40 now, so 1:50 estimate is SUPER safe. Hopefully I can show up and hang with you kids.

Also, I think I have ticket information for pretty much everyone right now, but let me know when you plan on getting in. I'm getting my new computer in August as well, so I will begin testing equipment for the stream and getting everything set up then!

I blame everhate for not hearing about this sooner. If it's in north texas like I think, that's within easy driving distance for me, so there's a chance I can drive down to hang out or possibly commentate things (because I'm bad at speed games, and schedule is done anyway :p )

Hey if Nes decides hes able to show up, we could probably do a Tetris Attack VS or even a race instead of me doing some of the other modes. I could even bring my Dr. Mario SNES or Pokemon Puzzle league. Just some suggestions since he runs a lot of the same Puzzle games that I do. He'd have to be up for it also though of course.

Hey everyone - I made a Twitter account for the meetup. If you want to follow I will be posting updates to the schedule, and putting up different images etc. for the event. I will also be notifying there when I will be doing equipment test streams for sound mixing, video etc. prior to the event. Cool, 4:45 works for me. I'll be there Saturday and that gives me plenty of time to wakeup and get warmed up. Can be pushed back a bit if room is needed, but looks good to me at the moment.

I'm gonna lug my CRT along with me so we can goof off in another room and use it for practice. Will also be bringing a bunch of consoles and flash carts, I'll arrive Friday evening, but I'll be leaving Saturday evening. So if anyone wants to do a real (hardware) arcade run of Metal slug 1-5, start practicing and I will lend you the CMVS during deuce con :D.

Cool, ya I'll bring my RGB shit, so you can stream with the upscaler while I'm there. I'll help out with any video/streaming issues if you'd like. I don't know if you're going to use splitters, most of my consoles have 2 video outputs (Component + RGB/S-Video). So I usually just got component or svideo going to my TV and RGB going to the stream. Another reason I am bringing my big ass TV.

Also considering bringing my tools if anyone wants shit done for free at cost of parts. I'll have to see how I feel that weekend.
