Still valid? I might give it a shot.

Anyone have a download for this game? or that against the rules?
I have a question. Does the goal have to be achieved in order to receive cash, or does it require it to fit in a speedrun as well (Mainly referring to the Sonic 2 part)? Just making sure I have the right idea.
Time to Kick Ass and Chew Bumble Gum
sucks that i forgot to reupload seg 22 untill now because i redid the seg a while back, now i have to tell the guy who made the bounty that seg 22 is wrong.
Back in the game!
Does anyone know if Slowbro is still around here?
wise fwom yo gwave
Sonic 2 bounty would obviously apply to doing an IL (there is an IL table for that game).
I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
In an attempt to get a faster Chrono Cross run continued by somebody, I am offering $50 to anyone who can beat it New Game Sub- 7:16:01(the Japanese Record)
PMs aren't working, but I finished that Pokemon Red/Blue SS run finally.
SLOWBRO!!!

Ewil has sent me the payment for Jagged Alliance 2 run. The run is added to SDA! Remove this bounty from your list!
MGS for PS1 forever.
$25 for a Jexx run and since I believe it's been about a year for PoP:TT, I'd be willing to shell out $200 for an SS.
I have no solution, but i admire the problem.
that is an insanely high amount of money for a relatively simple run. are you sure you want to give away so much money for that? I bet anyone would do it for 50$ as well. also, i guess since you said nothing about a difficulty, you want it in normal?
MGS for PS1 forever.
Don't really care which difficulty. I'm sure someone would be willing to do it for $50, but $200 gives extra incentives...which is what bounties are for, right??
everybody wanna tell you the meaning of music

BTW I want to apologize to you for not mentioning the bounty in the news, but nobody told me and I didn't know.
Forgot to mention Jagged Alliance 2 bounty was payed.
Psh, I'd go out and buy PoP:TT and speedrun it for 200 bucks. But I don't have a dvd recorder :/

Complete. Global. Saturation.
I've posted two for Super Mario Galaxy in this thread:

http://speeddemosarchive.com/forum/index.php/topic,7362.915.html

$50 for a Single Segment 60 star run.
$300 for a Single Segment 120 star run

Stipulation: Use either character for either one. Bounty will be paid (removed) once it is completed.
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.

That's a really good question. Mario is the standard guy, but Luigi has (some) different missions and advantages (with some disadvanatages too). Luigi can do a lot of things faster, but more risky stuff is required. What do you suggest?

Personally, I think Mario is easier to use and it would be easier to get a good time with him. So I think people are more likely to do a Mario run. But if I were you, I'd offer the bounty for either and remove it once it is completed with either Mario or Luigi. Then again, I'm not the one with my money on the line, so it's up to you.
two rows of links on main page pretty nifty
Remember it's easier on restarts with Luigi--no star festival or cutscenes there.
Yes, a cucco riding the ground.
That's a good point. With that in mind, Luigi might be easier overall. It'll likely be different for each runner.

I think I'll do this.

Hi.  I've never read/posted in this topic, but I thought I'd give it a go.

I've been wanting to see a Toejam & Earl (1) speedrun for quite some time.  However, the levels in the game are generated randomly, so practicing would be difficult since no two runs would be alike.  Also, the game is long and doesn't feature shortcuts of any sort, as far as I know.

Do you think there's a point to offering a bounty for it?  And, if I did offer one, what if any stipulations should I propose?  I'm thinking something like sub 90 minutes, but I'm basing that off a fuzzy memory of the last time I played the game.  Less?  Let me know what you guys think.

I'm a huge fan of the Toejam 'n Earl series, and i think a run of Toejam 1 would be great, especially in random mode. Remember that there's a fixed world mode ( iirc even the default mode ), which would allow very precise planning. But this, of course, would be another category, and random mode would definitely need a lot of improvisation, so it's probably much more interesting, anyways. If you'd offer a bounty on that mode, i might consider running it. I'd first have to find a cartridge of the game, though. could be difficult  Roll Eyes

oh, and i'd just say the run needs to be SDA-verified as a quality stipulation. You don't know how fast it can get in advance. And if SDA doesn't accept it because of some other issues, let some other Toejam players judge if it's good.

Have a Wii?  Cause both Toejam & Earl games are on Virtual Console.
