I have a question. Does the goal have to be achieved in order to receive cash, or does it require it to fit in a speedrun as well (Mainly referring to the Sonic 2 part)? Just making sure I have the right idea.
sucks that i forgot to reupload seg 22 untill now because i redid the seg a while back, now i have to tell the guy who made the bounty that seg 22 is wrong.
In an attempt to get a faster Chrono Cross run continued by somebody, I am offering $50 to anyone who can beat it New Game Sub- 7:16:01(the Japanese Record)
that is an insanely high amount of money for a relatively simple run. are you sure you want to give away so much money for that? I bet anyone would do it for 50$ as well. also, i guess since you said nothing about a difficulty, you want it in normal?
Don't really care which difficulty. I'm sure someone would be willing to do it for $50, but $200 gives extra incentives...which is what bounties are for, right??
$50 for a Single Segment 60 star run. $300 for a Single Segment 120 star run
Any restrictions on the character to be used?
That's a really good question. Mario is the standard guy, but Luigi has (some) different missions and advantages (with some disadvanatages too). Luigi can do a lot of things faster, but more risky stuff is required. What do you suggest?

Personally, I think Mario is easier to use and it would be easier to get a good time with him. So I think people are more likely to do a Mario run. But if I were you, I'd offer the bounty for either and remove it once it is completed with either Mario or Luigi. Then again, I'm not the one with my money on the line, so it's up to you.
Hi. I've never read/posted in this topic, but I thought I'd give it a go.
I've been wanting to see a Toejam & Earl (1) speedrun for quite some time. However, the levels in the game are generated randomly, so practicing would be difficult since no two runs would be alike. Also, the game is long and doesn't feature shortcuts of any sort, as far as I know.
Do you think there's a point to offering a bounty for it? And, if I did offer one, what if any stipulations should I propose? I'm thinking something like sub 90 minutes, but I'm basing that off a fuzzy memory of the last time I played the game. Less? Let me know what you guys think.
I'm a huge fan of the Toejam 'n Earl series, and i think a run of Toejam 1 would be great, especially in random mode. Remember that there's a fixed world mode ( iirc even the default mode ), which would allow very precise planning. But this, of course, would be another category, and random mode would definitely need a lot of improvisation, so it's probably much more interesting, anyways. If you'd offer a bounty on that mode, i might consider running it. I'd first have to find a cartridge of the game, though. could be difficult
oh, and i'd just say the run needs to be SDA-verified as a quality stipulation. You don't know how fast it can get in advance. And if SDA doesn't accept it because of some other issues, let some other Toejam players judge if it's good.

Have a Wii? Cause both Toejam & Earl games are on Virtual Console.
