Amateur DKC Runner

Game: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
Category: 103%
Estimate: 2:15:00
Info: The sequel to the critically-acclaimed Donkey Kong Country 2, and the speedrun remains just as exciting as its predecessors. 103% entails completing all stages, including the Lost World stages, and collecting all major pickups--DK Coins, Bonus Coins, and Banana Birds. I have experience running this game at past marathons, including SGDQ2015, and can do full commentary while playing, without requiring much backup. The run is full of cute and cool optimizations in bonus stages as well as the levels themselves. All the hardest parts of the run are at the very end, making for a nail-biter of an ending. PB is 2:07:55 which is about six minutes off Techiyo's WR.
Donation Incentives: In-game cheats - MERRY (Changes bonus stage music and objects to Christmas-themed), COLOR (changes color of Kongs to use second player's color scheme), File Name (up to 5 characters), Glitch Exhibition (adds 15-20 minutes)
