Good to get the DLC stuff cleared up. I was toying with the idea of using the idea using the quick traveling to the DLC at the start to level faster but let me tell you, THAT was a bad idea. Enemies there decimate you and the devs did a good job of making each area have a kill trigger based quest at the start to keep you from just running in and turning in a travel quest for quick xp.

Spent some time with Zero yesterday, very frustrating would not recommend for run. His skill tree really doesn't pour any benefits into the weapons you use in a low lvl run. (RL and such) But again, like Salvador, this may be your cup of tea and you are welcome to try it.

I will do some testing today to look at how may points you get each lvl and such. I know at lvl 50 it will max out all 3 trees and such but have not tested this on a lower lvl character, I'll do that today and post some results.

Ok update on the skill points glitch. It does still works but the big issue I'm running into is consistency, especially in an online game between you and a friend. (which would obviously be what you needed to do for a run) its kind of a lag dependent glitch so a solid connection kinda screws it up....sigh. Any idea's on making fake lag? I've gotten it to work about 3/20 when with a friend but almost 100% with randoms... frustrating. Also this needs testing on PC but i'm not sure how that would work, can you have guest profiles on the PC???

Edit:also make back ups, because this can wreck your save file...I lost one... embarassed

I was wondering about the DLC for a while now... good to know. I'll have to drop/sell the Gearbox weapons if I attempt any runs, but I figured that'd be the case in my tiny attempt (tried to see how fast I could get to Sanctuary with a Gunzerker; 40 minutes, but I know that's extremely slow even for glitchless. Did teach me I could take out an early boss at only LV. 3, though!). And huh... I thought Zero would've been good, but way I'm looking at it, the best one seems to be Axton. Not sure how well Maya would do for a run, and Gaige sorta falls into a gray area as she herself is DLC despite being good for a run too.

As for the PC version, guest profiles are pretty much impossible. The game's tied with your Steam account from the moment you install it, so you'd either have to delete the files composing the game's save data (including profile.bin), or keep Steam Cloud disabled and install on a different user account on the PC.

Rough...and I never thought about Gauge being a DLC, anarchy makes the run pretty smooth and reduces need to lvl but...dang she is DLC...crap

She falls under the same designation as the Gearbox weapons and vault hunter's relic. She IS DLC, but isn't tied to the expansions. Hence gray area. But it might be something to figure out? I dunno.

don't get your hopes up yet but I tried something on the info stockade on the "enter info stockade" objective I threw a graenade into the door way and it counted as me entering :S I need to test It again because it may have been coincidence. It wont be a quick test however as i need to reload from entering Sawtooth ¬_¬ forgot to make saves ....

After testing "Talon of God" (final mission) using the gate skip to avoid fighting i can confirm that ........ The warrior doesnt spawn, Jack and lilith aren't even there and sadly this particular skip is of no value Sad

### Edit @vortale the reason the exterior climb of the info stockade didn't work is because apparently the trigger for entering the building isn't always in the same place :S after about 10 tests the trigger went from half way along the road to halfway up the first set of stairs, so whether you can do the exterior climb is depended upon which trigger you get :/

Hi everyone,

I'm training for running this game with Zero and I would have your opinion about which skill tree should I choose.
I think the sniping tree is the best for early levels because it allows you to deal more damage early on.

I aslo found something that could be interesting for Zero :
When using the infinite ammo glitch, the damage bonus "One Shot One Kill" skill (+ 12% damage/level from the 1st shot of a fully loaded magazine [60% max]) applies.

Also i found something else with Zero which can be useful for the last fights :
You can have the 5 stacks from "Kill C0nfirmed" twice faster as it should be by cancelling your aim then aim right after the cancel.

Mortar Block: By throwing a turret where I do it traps Mortar inside the elevator letting you destroy him

Judgy! As usual, fantastic work on all the skips and glitches, that was a massively trolling psycho for sure. The Mortar block is genius because that guy murders me when I'm under lvl and having a blocking strat like that makes him no problem at all.

So I did some lvl testing on the sanctuary shops, and got...mixed results...*sigh* Somehow I have always gotten RLs at lvl 10 there but as of late I cannot reproduce it at all. I cannot for the life of me figure out what I did to trigger the step up to lvl 10 weapons every other time. (lvl 10 is when RL start to spawn in game, lowest lvl RL possible) So after 5 hours of testing it and other things, I am defeated. But I promise to figure it out!

So, last night on Vortale's stream, I started joking about playing NG+. But, now I'm kinda interested in figuring it out. Thanks to the possibility of large and unlimited rocket jumps, the game basically becomes an entirely different thing. Because the fire rate is so high, to activate infinite ammo, you have to bind the shoot button to the mouse wheel, so that you can actually shoot one rocket at a time. But, then you need to rebind it back because mousewheel is too slow for rocket jumping. Is it possible to have both bound at the same time?

Aslo, I don't think I'd ever take the time to legit grind these badass ranks. What I'm using now is an order of magnitude lower than what I was talking about yesterday, but you'd still need to get to around badass rank 50 billion. According to the internet, with the fastest grinding strats, it would take about 30 years to get it that high. I could probably afford to make the stats a little bit lower, but it's still going to take more time than is feasible. So that's a pretty big barrier to making a legit run.

I wouldn't use any jakobs weapons. I'd probably just stick to a low damage rocket jumping RL, and maybe one other weapon for boss kills.

Yes, but I'm curious. And besides, before you get far enough along for the Infinite Ammo glitch, you'll want a revolver or single-shot shotgun to make up for a lack of rawket lawnchairs. Vortale's clearly using some method, as he keeps up the insane fire speed for hours on end. I'm just curious what his method was.

Ok after another 10 hours of testing I think I have this LVL 10 RL thing figured out, you have to hit ten before entering the Bloodshot Stronghold, but even then it now seems hit or miss. If we could figure out how the earliest lvl 10 gear shows up but without the lvl 11+12 gear we'd have the problem solved, feel free to keep testing this with me if you'd like (anyone) and post the results if you want a big ugly list of the various test I've done so far let me know. but the extra time investment pretty much means grinding TMNT is just as smart a choice if not better because of the extra chests.

And Judgy, thanks for looking into the high lvl equipment thing for me. I've been attempting various methods but have not gotten anywhere, perhaps the PC version might offer some insight into this.

Watching Vortale's latest run... a couple of thoughts:
- Yeah, definitely start splits. I think there's an interesting question here. If you head off to Arid Nexus at lvl 22 and a crap weapon - and otherwise just run as fast as possible - how long does the endgame take from there? Then, if you grind out two levels with King Mong, and upgrade, how long is end game then? I have a strong feeling that if you added up all the time spent respawning etc etc, it might actually be faster to grind out a level or two first. Plus, be more fun in the end. (You could even argue similarly at the Turtles vs Bunker.) The only ways to really know is to add up all the lost time on respawn on a couple of runs (yuck), or use splits and take notes.
- One backup plan is to grind out a decent weapon from King Mong if you don't have one. Also a shield.
- I coulda swore one time, in the Divide, I jumped my car over the part where you get out of your car, and jump over. Probably doesn't matter much. EDIT: yup, you can, but - surprise! - an invisible wall prevents you from landing anywhere but a ledge.
- On the Sir Hammerlock bullymong missions - maybe I'm not seeing it, but why not shoot the bullymong piles, rather than run out to them to touch them?
