I did toy around with it, and though you can go pretty far oob, there's like some walls around the loading zone to that one area that requires hitting the button to get to.

I figured I'd make an update. Flicky and I have been doing a few any% 1 races, and I've been searching every nook and cranny for tricks. My current PB for any% 1 is 1:44:44, which I'll link here:

and my Any% 2 PB is still the 3:18:39, but I haven't done runs of this in a while (partly cause I've been racing flicky in any%1, and the other reason being it's a really long run to do lol). I'll be doing runs of both of these categories this week and weekend, probably starting this wednesday evening.

Here are some tricks I've found since last time:

Any%1 timesavers:

Time Savers best suited for a segmented run:

Both of my runs need a little updating. I just got the Any%1 PB a few days ago, but I discovered the tomoki city skip just about an hour ago, and the kung fu alley and hot springs skip were found after that PB. Though I keep thinking there's nowhere left to glitch hunt and trick find, I keep finding timesavers here and there, so as of now I'm going to say that I can't give an estimate on a good time for submission for either category. Also sorry for all the embeds haha, I had a lot to show and if anyone else may want to run this in the future, I know they'd want to see all the tricks they could do.

EDIT: I found a few levels where you could clip into the break rooms without using super monkey, but then found out they're all useless because some of the rooms are blocked off in a new game file, and for the ones you CAN still get into, the monkeys aren't in the rooms anyways until you beat the game once. So much for saving a few minutes =[.

Got a real good Any%1 run today. 1:37:28, had some really good execution and decent luck (except the beginning, I tend to have bad luck in the beginning I think lol).

Part 2

For now, I'm going to give Any%1 a little break unless I'm racing flicky or until I find new tricks. Gonna focus on any% all monkeys now and update that PB =].

I also found an odd bug in one of my attempts. I somehow caught two monkeys, and the game registered catching the same monkey twice over, making it so that second monkey was caught, but didn't count towards the catch total, making me have to get one more monkey. I'm not sure what caused this, but it's very bizarre to say the least.
