--slow-firstpass is required because we're doing CRF first pass 
Otherwise it will end up using faster settings that are usually OK for a bitrate first pass, but since we're doing CRF we'll have to use --slow-firstpass or quality will suffer.
AFAIK, x264 always uses two decimals for both fps and kb/s.
