Good luck as I'm currently trying to improved my speedrun, I'll probably be in the bonus streaming of the marathon speedrunning this, so be sure to watch it if it happen I do like 1 or 2 new tricks and I'm currently trying to make some new incredible tricks I found this week consistent, so I'll upload them in here within the next months and again good luck competing with me in this category.
Totally rad
Would love to watch that, AndréLucLévesque! Do you guys stream your Amnesia runs regularly (on, for instance, w00ty), by the way?

Main Work!!!
Apjjm used to stream a lot but since he had his HDD back, he's doing it less often and I don't do it at all but I might eventually start.

edit: Might end up doing my 100% run a SS finally, I've practice it a bit recently and realized that it was incredibly hard to SS but it's doable.
What?
I can stream again this either this weekend for another practice run through showing my route for both justine and the main game if people want. I have had a week or two off recording segments as I have been doing exams (and watching the marathon!).

Would love to see a main game run with commentary. What's the link to your channel?
Will watch the recordings in this thread and will have a go at running through the game a few times before the end of the week, so that I can actually follow what's going on in your stream.
Main Work!!!
I'll be streaming Amnesia: the Dark Descent in like 1 to 2 hours on the marathon channel, then I'll go to sleep, I have a long route to do tomorrow(going back to Canada -_- ).

I'll be streaming(as a test and for practice also) around 7h pm gmt . I'll test my new routes and it will probably look awful since there still a lot of glitches that aren't that optimize and I'll try until I get them Smiley . I'll edit when I'll start.

I realized that with the link it would be easier Tongue . http://en.twitch.tv/andreluclevesque

Excellent: I'll keep an eye open on your stream tab. I've been working on my run a little bit, so it's always nice to see the master at work Smiley
Main Work!!!
Thanks a lot for your compliment but I personally think that Apjjm is more a master than me at this game, aside from this I'll be starting in a couples of minutes. I need to get my set up ready, since I'm not that english I'll use the chat I'll speak during the loading zones(they are long enough for this Tongue ).

Main Work!!!
I'll stream in a couple of minutes a casual 100% run with no sound since I didn't find any issues.
Edit: I'm done streaming, apjjm, what time would be a good time for you that I stream because I think as well as AdamAK, you're nor in the same time zone as me.
O Captain! My Captain!
Whats different between 100% and well... the other one?
Totally rad
100% involves collecting every note and solving every puzzle (which means you also have to obtain pretty much every item). Any% is just rushing to the end as quickly as possible. Then it's also split into glitched and glitchless, since going OOB makes a really massive time difference.
Main Work!!!
100% include collecting every items, either way, I wouldn't collect the iron bar at the beginning of chapter 3 in the cells, OOB is only a part of it, OOB make an about 6minutes difference, the boosted jump are doing an about 2 minutes difference and the boost running about 1 minutes difference. btw, Apjjm, I found a way to improved your rainy hall, with two perfect boost jump in the final stair it's 4% reliable but I'll try to record a video and post it in here.
What?
Sounds good. I've been a little busy at uni recently so haven't really made much progress in the storage (plus I am still experimenting with some new route ideas) but hopefully over the next week I can get the storage recorded.

Quote from Apjjm:
Edit 2: Here it is

I've somehow been unable to figure out precisely how to get the boost to get to the morgue. Could you be so kind to clarify this trick a bit? I've gotten the upward boost itself a few times, but was unable to steer myself in the right direction. Other than that, the OOB glitch to get to the Sewers is very easy to get.
Main Work!!!
It's simply hard as hell, there is no precise trick around this you either have the option to do like the video and boost on the piece of wood while spamming jump while going forward and at the moment you stop touching the piece of wood, you go backward or do like me on do it on the little corner between the stair and the wood. It was the goal to achieve when I found my skip the cistern, having the glitch to be SS friendly, but the one in the video above is slower and is incredibly hard and if you're talking about this one being easy, I'll bow down to you.
Totally rad
Alright, thanks. I'll just keep trying. Your method seemed easier, as I actually managed to get launched up sometimes (but in the wrong direction). I'm stuck at that room until I manage to do the trick anyway, since I can't bring down the ladder and do it the regular way!
The only thing I called 'easy' is clipping through the wall near the big door, to get to the Sewers; nothing fancy required there, except for running through the wall and stopping in time, so that you don't plunge to an unfortunate death. :p
Depending on how much work I'll have for university, I may start streaming some time next week.

I recorded a little something for you in the last five minutes but be indulgent, it's pretty casual since it was done in 1 try and I wasn't sure if it was possible. I'll edit in a couple of minutes when it'll be fully upload.

Apjjm, here I miss what I told you but to give you an idea, you have to do a similar boost like I did but on the first step of the stair and land on the collapsed  pillar to get a boost to the door, this should give you an idea and I'll try to do the exact thing I said to you and record it eventually and I think if you open the door during the 2nd boost, you start the Old Archives with a greater speed trigger.

Totally rad
That's a very interesting trick, AndreLL. Thanks for that! I'd prefer to learn the method without the glass jar, but I'll give the trick in the video a go as well. It would be good to know it as a back-up method. I'll continue working on the run tomorrow; hopefully I'll be able to apply the majority of the remaining useful glitches during this run.
Main Work!!!
Why didn't you tell that you were going to stream, I would have wanted to watch it,

I post a couple of comments on you attempt.
1-When you're doing the introduction, grabbing the tinderbox in my speedrun was purely for the style, you should priories opening the door, because you don't need to do it when you're coming through it after the fall unconscious first flashback.
2-in the Old Archive, you're doing the same mistake as I was doing
Quote from Apjjm:
Looking good so far, spotted a few pointers which will help you improve your time. The first is to trigger the whirlwind in the old archives (just walk into the door a little like I do in my speedrun) - this will reset your running multiplier (from around 0.8 to 1), and you should notice you are faster after doing this - this also makes the subsequent jump much easier. Furthermore, test out taking the right hand path at the end of the water chase sequence, as this is a little shorter IIRC. Finally, moving forwards is always faster than strafing and walking backwards, which is just something to keep in mind really for the storage and other tight areas (better to turn around mid-way and run out a room than to run backwards the whole way).

Mainly for the speed, because I think that you only regain 1 speed at the beginning of chapter 2(prison)which make the beginning of the run a lot harder(the reason why you've been hit in the storage)
3-If you press X, you have a little cursor that appear which is pretty useful to target before doing something, but this may just be a preferences.
4-You don't need to close the coal burner after putting all the coal.
5-In the prison there's a little rock you can move on the floor during the first falshback so that you walk at full speed and you don't need to mic the hammer and chisel together to use them, just use the hammer on the hole and it'll work.
6-you don't suck doing the sewer glitch, this glitch is insane(if not the hardest after the one I working on to get in my next attempts). If you go through our oldest conversation with Apjjm, we were talking about alternate way that is safest but slower(but not that much), getting this glitch right is an almost automatic accept, just to tell you the difficulty.

7- about all the question in the choir, the stair boost is perform that FG decided to give the stair a real stair shape so when we jump on a corner of these stair if we are looking a bit down and press jump on the perfect frame(that is when you hit the corner of the stair)you'll get the upward speed of your jump convert into forward speed add the the natural speed you already have and about the pillar glitch in the choir, the pillar is totally misshape so you can jump on small misshape platform to get higher(using them to abuse jump and all the jumps are add to others, so you get an upward boost).
8-About the Cells trick where you go OOB to skip the water part, it's really not reliable, it's not even segmented friendly, I think that's even where Apjjm was at his first speedrun.
Overall it's pretty good, a lot of thing were making remember my couple of firsts speedruns of this game. I think you should continue going progressively, like adding a glitch at the time and in a couple of attempt, this might actually sub35 eventually.
Tomorrow I'll probably stream a any% speedrun, I still don't know when, but if I do it I'll write in here.

I'll be streaming amnesia around 14H gmt.

Edit: BTW, the link: http://en.twitch.tv/andreluclevesque . I should start in about ten minute.
Edit2: streaming over, got an awful attempt if someone want to see it it's on my channel, I'm also trying to do the newest trick I found at the end but I'll try to do a better video of this. and post it here.
Main Work!!!
Got it, now the only thing I need is speed and consistency(I get it only 1/3 at the moment and I need this speed this up a bit. I think an upward boost to skip the whole end section would be great since I kill myself I and don't care how much damage I am).

Here's the link:

Thanks for all the awesome tips, AndréLL! The running speed in chapter 1 should make a huge difference. I was already wondering whether I was only imagining that Daniel was walking more slowly than during my first playthrough. This should definitely make Storage a lot easier.

I'll stream again in about 20-30 minutes (a single run). Will hopefully also be able to stream tonight, if I don't get home too late. Here's a link to the channel: www.twitch.tv/adam_ak

Edit1: Finished the stream. I think I should be able to get most of the tricks quite consistently. I'm already happy that I can do most of them in the first place, but now I just need to practice hard to get them all more quickly. I'll also spend some time later on looking for possible glitches in the Cellar Archives; would be fantastic if we could go OOB there and skip the annoying stuff.
I'll stream again later on tonight (somewhere around GMT+1 midnight).

Edit2: Did the second stream. Had a fairly decent run. Nearly managed to get the sewers trick on my first (proper) try, but I ended up falling into the large room again. Overall, it was a pretty neat run, but I'm sure I can still do a lot better. Might have an interesting video for you soon, I can make a good recording of it..

Seeing your stream made me want to speedrun, all of my run went awful but I could at least do something, it's a boost in the Old Archives I talked long ago, it's segmented friendly and should save 1 or 2 seconds(save the frames Smiley )!!!

Here it is Apjjm:
