It's not a final run, so there are a lot of mistakes. The only major shortcut I found yet was at the elevator, where you can skip the part where you get the shotgun first. Oh, and at the beginning of the Nightmare and Hospital levels while you can't see anything for a few seconds you can already move.
PS: I don't know why, but the sound errors only occur when I play the demo files.
Mod is simply amazing. Its relatively short, should takes about 2 1/2 hours. Bunny hopping still works, so speed running shouldn't be an issue.
It is really cool and worth playing it for my first play (the whole game) took me about 5h i think second play-thru took me 2.5 - 3h it has some speedrun potential here and there my guess: a 1h - 1.5h run can be done with bunnyhopping
the game works with the old half life (patched to 1.1.1.0 v46) but there are textureerrors like: tree-textures are not transparent / masked but everything else works
Half-Life with Counter-Strike weapons. You get money for eliminated enemies and can buy your stuff at health stations. And your enemies are much stronger than in Half-Life, even on easy. A speedrun of this would be awesome!
- 1:32 - awesome trick, not sure why that wasn't done before lol.
@ 1:54 - come on that was nuts lmao.
5:30 - ok, never saw that one before.
Noticed you got some object boosts in there too. Nice job. Video quality's kinda icky, but very impressive run groobo. A joy to watch and damn creative too.
So is it a hard mode run? Also, any kind of scripts used?
oh yeah, that was funny at the end, getting over that fence.8) I always wanted to do that, but I think I couldn't get it to work or something.

lol the trick at 1:32 is old and the one at 5:30 is the one i found out and also posted it in the old blueshift thread in my "possible improvements list" most is copied from that:P good job tho what i want to know is how you got the bhop uncapped?
I used the retail version of bs (air-control still sucks though). Also don't say that any of the tricks was "copied" because every single one is damn obvious, I mean come on - it's half-life :P.

Yeah, it's done on hard. I used scripts for bhing, ar and object boosting.

Yeah I know it's old (I think the first time I saw it was in Dark_Devil's ancient run), I just meant the way he performed it. As in, 3 shots, then the last one as he jumps into it. Pretty stylish.
EDIT: lawl, I'm surprised I forgot to ask, but what's your final time?
First video @10:45: "Let's try this!" *SWAT unit spawns* *shotgun unloaded right in the face* = :DDDD
My only complaint is that at this level of optimization, you still push against some doors while they're still opening instead of backing up and accelerating before they fully open. A door in the very beginning comes to mind, and also a lowering bridge a couple minutes after it. Another part which felt like a slowdown was at 07:47, where you shoot two soldiers, which take their sweet time to fall down and give you their weapons. Couldn't you shoot them like a second earlier?
All the rest looks pretty much flawless, and also AMAZING (tm).
