I'm adding Alundra 2 into the list of worst game I've ever played. Don't know why I picked up this game off my shelf today, popped it into the PS2, and played it again. Controls are horrible, storyline is bleh (kind of funny though), music is somewhat unbearable, etc. It's nothing compared to the first Alundra.
I was joking... FF6 is actually one of my favorite games. The Gameboy version of Gex is worse than afterbirth-on-toast. Don't ever eat it--er, play it.
My worst game ever to be played was probably NFL quarterback club
This would be my answer too, PS1 version specifically. How you can make a game straight up worse than Tecmo Bowl after all those years is incredible.

I found Solstice and WoW to be incredibly terrible compared to what I was expecting.
Equinox is the worst sequel I have ever seen to anything in any media, by so much, that if you think Solstice is terrible, you probably don't want to think about a world in which Equinox exists.

The people at SNK really had their heads up their asses during the days of the NES.
What are you talking about, they made Crystalis.

That and well, Lufia and the Forturess of Doom both have a horrible battle system that makes me wanna throw the game out the window. If I had the carts.
I don't want to sully your Dawn of Mana thread, so I'll say it here. I don't think someone who plays modern Mana games should have a right to say something like this. I was surprised nobody said SD in that "jump the shark" thread; it's a perfect answer. (I'll leave it up to you to guess which game I am thinking of.)
Also if you really hate Beyond the Beyond that much, you ought to dislike Golden Sun as well. Same with people who hate Rhapsody (I know, this is certainly not you), they ought to dislike Disgaea as well. If I ever met any of the people who fit into these categories, I would tell them everyone gives me all their money and it's the cool thing to do, because they are such sheep they would surely do it.
Also I like Lufia's battle system on its own merits (i.e. ignoring the fact that battles are random and that you kind of have to grind) better than a pretty significant majority of turn-based battle systems. I dunno though, I guess I'm like the only person who thinks ATB is kind of stupid, so whatever.
Anyway I'm too well-informed anymore and didn't game too much while I was little so I barely remember playing really bad games. So I have to give a couple of boring answers, like ET and Pac-Man on 2600. Also 3D Ballz for Genesis I guess. That definitely sucked [joke that is too obvious to be worth directly making].
3.Dr.Robotniks Mean Bean Machine(Game Gear) Wow, they try to make sonic tetris.I mean WTF?It didn't even play like tetris.Sound was horrible. And it sucked. 2.Tails Adventures(Game Gear) Bad control. Bad attacks.Bad bleeps.BAD GAME! 1.Tails Skypatrol What the damned fuck was Sega thinking!!!!!!!!!!!Ugh, I glad that it was a Japen release only.Bad idea purpurse. Bad gameplay.Bad design.Sega fucked up.
Ugh, I'm quoting my own post. :-[ A few days ago was playing those games again and i got addicted. :-[
So i will make a new worst game list. i feel sad now :-[
I've never played Crystalis, but if it is truly a good game, then there's only one explanation: SNK had their best employees working on their RPGs and then found some retarded interns to work on their top-down shooters.
Crystalis is a great game, much better than that one game it draws unfair comparisons to. You should definitely try it out. You can trust me, I recommend great games like Gimmick!
1.Sonic 3d Blast System:Genisis,Gamecube,PS2,X-Box (Sigh) bad control, bad graphics, bad concept, bad levels, easy bosses, not a good start for sonic to 3d,unless the SS version is better.
New list, new games. If you want to straight out complain please PM me,qwerty.

I don't play RPGs that religiously, but, you're not alone. Except in my case it might be more that it annoys the fuck out of my play style. If I'm not going to do anything but pick from a menu, give me time to think out my strategy. And if I don't NEED that time, you probably have a crappy battle system with not enough depth.

Fun fact: there were exactly 134,217,728 levels of blue sphere. I shouldn't really know that, but I do, so meh.
Oh, and you could play it if you put sonic 1 in sonic & knuckles.

sonic started to suck dicks instantly when it turned 3D. the sonic adventure sonics are bad too, and by bad i don't mean good.
mario's transition to 3d was awesome, mario64 was really good. sonic in 3d just doesn't work. why can't they make 2d sonic games with really good graphics for wii, 360 etc?
one other reason why the 2d sonics were good is because they had good music, unlike games today. sonic in 3d ain't ballin, it sucks balls.
Yeah, all 3d sonics have and always will suck ass. All sonic game gears suck ass. Sonic 2 is probably the only game out of the entire series that i'd say was a pretty decent game.
Ive played a lot of bad games for a short time, but the worst game that I played for several hours is an action rpg that came out a few years ago for the PC called Dungeon Lords. I kept thinking, why am I playing this? I kept fooling myself that it would get better. It didnt.
Rule number one, bad video games NEVER get better, they only get worse as you go along. Especially N64 games.
