My feelings on The Demon Rush
Game Page: Doesn't exist yet

Wouter M. 'WMJ' Jansen's (aka NOT the GoldenEye guy) Individual lap times

Verifier Responses

About the first response, I downloaded the Dyroness video and confirmed it works just fine.

Here are my verification comments for Wipeout 64.

Audio: OK

Video: For some reason, the Dyroness video will only play for a couple of seconds before going blank.  I don't know whether or not it's a problem with the file or the media player (it also happened when watching another run previously).  Otherwise, the video's fine.

The run: There's really not a whole lot to comment on.  The runner goes through the laps really quickly by making good use of the speed boosts, sometimes even glitching through the higher parts of the levels.

Wish I could've seen the Dyroness video, but if the other videos are any indication, it's probably just as impressive.

Accept.

Good video and sound quality, no cheating.
Nice and clean lap records with huge "boost & fly over the track shortcuts", 6 of 7 records are beating Phil Hughes records at http://www.geocities.com/n64highscores/Wipeout64.html . There is/was not much serious competition in this game, so that's the best reference site I can think of...

Klies Bridge: 13.0 (-0.1 than the N64HS record)
Qoron IV: 21.1 (-1.2 than the N64HS record)
Sokana: 26.1 (-0.3 than the N64HS record)
Dyroness: 16.3  (-0.4 than the N64HS record)
Machaon II: 27.5 (+1.0 than the N64HS record)
Terafumos: 21.9 (-0.1 than the N64HS record)
Velocitar: 20.4 (-0.6 than the N64HS record)
---
Overall: 2:26.3 (-1.7 than the N64HS record)

Easy accept from me, I would like to see more oldschool N64 racing games Smiley !

Decision: Accept

Reason: These lap times are quick, well-optimized, and most of them beat the current records.
Thread title:
Thanks all for verifying :).

Just a note about the Machaon II time. At N64HS they allow any game mode to be played to set the lap records. I think the Machaon II record was probably achieved using single race where one could get lucky picking up 2 -3 boosts and an auto pilot for the hairpin turns.
