Zelda Scientist®
hey Radix, I was wondering if lets say, I said ok I want to see what things other people have tried w/out polluting the thread... could I create a login like ZeldaWiki or something and then just make the pass Zelda or something and then let people all be able to log in and add to the contents of the post which stated strats that have been tried etc? I know in the hands of children it could be prone to trolls and the immature but would it be okay if used sparcely? Or I could just PM the pass to people who are actually worthy.

Quite honestly, I don't think you need his permission to do that. Grin

wikis are powerful content management systems.. they're not the best for discussion, but good for gathering results. I'd say: try and see if it works out.

No, he doesn't mean an actual wiki... he means a user that everyone has access to.

That's... usually not a good idea.

Especially in my hands.

oh sorry, I misunderstood you.

Having common edit rights in a forum is a bad idea IMHO, because unlike wiki's, a forum doesn't track the edit history, and violent edits cannot be undone.
but a glitch-collecting wiki would be awesome Cheesy
No the Quail is not riding the Q
We don't need one...just trust me on that.
You don't want it...because it will suck.
Unless you want to keep the idea of having only the people that know what they are talking about contributing.

But we got The Hylia (© 2005 The Hylia.  No content may be reused or redistributed without expressed written consent from The Hylia) and thats where it will all be at.
