I have no idea how to work this one out.  Can someone tell me the details of Batman: Arkham City on Xbox 360?

Clock Tower (Super Famicom) 240p on Virtual Console
Source file 720x480 (Or should this be 640x480 for VC?)

D4 F3 2D? Frames between changes is a tad inconsistent. At times it looks to be F2 but then requires 3 forward key presses to get a new frame.

arkham city: this is progressive scan f2 video.

clock tower: framerate is so low it doesn't really matter. it's something like f6. i'd say d4 f2 just to keep the different fields from taking away encoding bandwidth.
Jungle Strike (Genesis)

D4 F1 2D? Can't hurt to be sure.

correct.

unfortunately i think you have chroma ghosting - how are you capturing this?
I'm using one of the EZ Caps that you sent to the 4H center and I'm capturing with VirtualDub. Composite directly in and audio going through a switcher to my line in (EZ Cap causes audio lag), if that matters.

I kind of figured there was a problem when reviewing recordings earlier, but I have no idea what's causing it. I was planning to make a quality test topic for this, so maybe I should just go ahead and do that so this can be sorted out there instead?
sure. yeah, may be any number of things.

I've been following the EzCAP guide and since the game I'm playing isn't in the database, I'm supposed to upload a source file here. Well, I've been having some trouble uploading it for some stupid reason, but here's a short clip at least:

If you need a longer video, I'll try to provide one.

Played on PS2, btw.

edit: Putting in my arbitrary guess at D1 F2...
cool, i just watched my sister go through this game.

it's actually f1. after a while you become able to tell just by looking at it. flagship tales games are f1. it's part of what makes the battles so fun.

btw, to tell, open it up in quicktime, go to a place with a lot of motion, press the right arrow key, and wait a few seconds. you should see the picture change. then do it again. if you see it do it again then it's f1. if it's every other frame then it's f2.

If you check the last page, nate said Alundra is d4 f1 2d (every frame changes) but only every second frame changes in your encode which would make it d4 f2 2d

I don't even know if running the game at 720p changes anything (it has atleast changed the framerate so could d1 f2 be argued due to the upscaling of the PS3?).
every frame is changing for me in that mp4 just posted ...
thethrillness.blogspot.com
I ran it through an editor and every frame does change. Will use that from now on instead of frame advance in media player (first time that has ever let me down).
Thanks, both of you. Sorry for asking about Alundra a second time, but I did not find it in the list of dimensions and framerates in the KB, so I just assumed it wasn't asked before.
