not sure why there's no psp prompt in anri ... i guess i sometimes get confused about differences between anri and my own encoding system. been trying to address this the last few days. i also think i got psp input confused with gbp ... gbp is definitely d4 but now it looks like psp is probably d1.

d1 f1 deflicker on definitely looks the best. let's go with it.
FF1 Anniversary Edition on PSP: Sample. Game was played on a 3000 PSP with composite out.
d1 f1 2d. don't forget to crop the borders (anri gives you this option).
I encoded using those settings, and low quality (170 megs) gives me a bob. Normal and high qualities are just fine. Here's the log in case I missed something.
gah. try d1 f1 3d.
Bad News Baseball for the NES.

That fixed the bobbing. Cheesy To be honest, I never would've guessed this needed 3D to encode. *shrug*

d4 f1 2d

That's what I figured, but thought I'd double-check.  Thanks!
Hi, Just uploaded a sample of Akumajo Dracula XX on SNES. what is the D,F  for this game please ?
here is the sample ! => http://dl.free.fr/eFqGmR8Zh
By the way , this anri-chan thing is just wonderful !
no actual gameplay in that sample but it's 99% likely to be d4 f1 2d.
do you want me to make another footage ? or is it ok for me to use d4 f1 2d ? (thanks for the quick reply by the way)
no, just use d4 f1 2d.
thanks a lot!
If it's not too much trouble, what is the D, F, and FDP for ZombiU on the WiiU?

how did you capture this? it seems like analog (composite) due to the bad rainbows on the text, but in that case it should be interlaced. impossible to tell f with a deinterlaced source.
I used an EasyCap Capture Device, using the Composite for input. I captured the video with the program AmarecTV v2.10b

wow, did you use a digital capture device? looks good. you should be able to encode it as progressive scan, d4 f1 2d.

edit: on a side note, now i have to put in support for user-selected aspect ratio with progressive scan input in yua.
hey guys, I'm going to have to answer all of the encoding questions from scratch, as SDA currently hosts no runs of the SNES Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen.

Would someone please tell me the D and F based off of this game sample?

There's no sound yet because turns out I think I need a stereo male to dual RCA female cable since my stupid Dazzle capture card isn't recognizing the audio linking the RCA red/white/gold (male) cables from TV to console to capture card to PC via USB.  I'll get one at radioshack so the actual run can be recorded with sound, but in the meantime I wanted to figure out the D and F to learn the ropes of encoding this particular game ahead of time once ready to record a full run.
doesn't really show any gameplay but i bet you anything it's d4 f1 2d.

I captured it with a Winfast PVR. AmaRec TV deinterlaced the video.
