Well I've loved all the Qdq videos that have come out, but I keep on seeing speedrun demos for custom maps which I would love to watch (except I don't have Quake).  I think a video showing speedruns from a bunch of different custom maps would be great.

I quite like it. We should nominate a number of cool demos and do recams and whatnot and make it into a vid...

Actually vids of custom maps aren't needed... the quake engine is now free because of GPL, so people can download that and the maps and the demos and they're good to go.  Only the id/hip/rog maps need avis since those maps can't be downloaded (legally) except e1mx anyway.  But of course people are lazy and would rather download large avis  Wink

People should probably focus on finishing current projects, than creating new ones =D

While I'm sure a custom-map video could have promotional effect and entertainment value, I'm thinking it might be confusing to watch. Exiting here, portalling in there, where am I now? Oh, must be a new map, theme is totally different. What the hell kinda monster was that? etc etc...
