Verification Files

http://v.speeddemosarchive.com/unepic/

Please refer to the Verification Guidelines before posting. Verifications are due by Sept. 22, 2013.

Please post your opinions about the run and be certain to conclude your post with a verdict (Accept/Reject). This is not a contest where the majority wins - I will judge each verification on its content. Please keep your verification brief unless you have a good reason otherwise.

After 2 weeks I will read all of the verifications and move this thread to the main verification board and post my verdict.

(There's also some of my older PBs on that channel amid other games)
Yes, I'm a wizard.
Great planning, good use of out-of-bounds by using teleportation while on an elevator. Being able to beat the game at level 10 and fighting only 3 bosses is amazing. Finished the game with pretty much 0 spells and items left so no time wasted getting extra supplies.

No big mistakes execution wise, just slight sloppiness during the level grinding part. Good bossfights.

No cheating detected.

Audio/video is good.

Accept.
First of all, I don't know this game (at all).
The video and sound are good. No signs of cheating (but not knowing this game means that quite a few things could easily slip me by).
The gameplay is for the most part solid. What looked like a few missed shots here and there, some minor platforming mistakes etc, but nothing out of the ordinary. As a general comment, common speedrun tricks, such as jump on to ladders or edge jumps (to increase vertical momentum) were employed whenever possible.
Without knowing the game, I can't really say much about the luck or the route. There is a lot of farming and quite a bit of walking back and forth, but it seems like the runner knew what they were doing and not because they were lost.
Finally, there are some game breaking oob glitches that are used to skip major parts of the game. So the run should probably be labeled "with resets and major skips" (or whatever that kind of category is called).

ACCEPT
The majorness of the OOB glitch is very relative. I've been thinking of routing All Bosses as alternative category instead; it'd still use OOB glitches but with pretty limited effect (unlocking gates early, getting weapons I'm not supposed to have yet, etc).

Decision posted.
