Fast steam monster kill
Probably the fastest, and the hardest, movement trick in the game. You need to be under the block when you hook it.

Nosferatu, I just watched your any% run and it was great seeing someone else's way of doing this category! I wonder though why you always get 100% of the trinangles in the levels you enter? I'm pretty sure its faster to skip the slowest ones and to compensate by doing more of the mini-levels.
Do you have any recommendations for which Trineangles are slow? I can't think of any that are so far away from the other Trineangles in a map that it would be worth loading one of the other 4 side missions.
Well there are a lot. The 6 trineangles in "The curious contraption" in the clip video you posted a few days ago are a good example. It takes 20+ seconds to take 6 trineangles. I've just uploaded a video in one of the Zoya mini levels to show how it's possible to grab 15 trineangles in the same time (I just noticed that I missed one triangle in the video, as I grab only 14). You keep your trineangle when you click on "return to map".

As for the loading times, it is not counted in the total times of the run so loading a mini levels is almost free. For my own planing, I used as a metric the "time required per trineangle". Most of the mini levels average 2-3s per trineangles, therefore all the trineangles which take more than 3s should be skipped.
There's a discord for Trine series speedruns now: https://discord.gg/9Y6RK3h

Doing this was indeed faster. I got a run yesterday that was more than 2 minutes faster thanks to rerouting.
I made a detailed tutorial for the Trine 3 Single Player Any% speedrun:

This should have everything you need to get started with this game. Let me know if I should include any other information in it.
