I was wondering if anybody would be interesed in seeing a speedrun of Toy Story 3.

I've been playing this game for 2 days, and I can already complete it in 1:23:xx.
So the game's highly speedrunable, but before going in some crazy routing and all, I was wondering if there's at least some people interested in seeing this run made.

I didn't find any glitches so far, except for like a horse glitch in the toy box, which is useless, but funny :P, so if there would be people interested in glitch hunting too, that would be good to know.

Solet me know what you think, and there's a sample, the run I did today, with lots of deaths, but in 1:23.

I'm interested in it because I love seeing every single game get at least a -decent- speedrun Smiley

I say go for it bro!

Any reason you chose 100% over any%?  How much is involved for 100% vs just a normal completion of the game?
Well, I wrote 100% because when you complete the game, it says "story mode completion: 100%" even though you just complete the story without collecting all collectibles. so it's more a any% run. collectibles just unlocks shits in the galleries and stuff like that, so it doesn't influence the overall percentage of the game completion, oddly enough Tongue

Ah, that's interesting.  If the game  ACTUALLY says completion: 100% and there's no other marking anywhere, I guess any% is the exact same as 100% here.  Never seen that before.
Here is a  1:03:35 run I did today, still not perfect, but getting closer, routing goes well.

Start watching from 1:53:00 for the begining of the run.

I also found that there might be a way to skip the half of the longuest level, but I'm not able quite yet to figure how to do it, so if you want to give it a try, or give ideas, it would be welcome!

Start looking at about1:14:20  in the video linked above to see my attemps, what almost worked, etc.

Thanks for the interest.

I probably won't watch the whole run but I may pick up the game for myself at some point and mess around with some runs, and will check yours out to see how I compare.  I had been planning on picking this up some time anyways, so this is extra incentive.  Unfortunately I need to clear a few things off my plate first!
Good to know, I'll keep you updated on the news, if news there are
Technically this is bumping but I'd like topoint out, 100% Would include Toy Box aswell.

I played the hell out of the first toy story game (I think) for the N64. I'd love to see more games like this having a speedrun for it Wink Though I won't attempt one since I'm lazy and I don't want to buy a console then buy the game.....then buy some sort of recording thing. ANYWAY. Goodluck with this game and I'll look forward to see an optimized run for it!

(omg) I just relized that this post is like 2 years old. Sorry bout that I am stupid. :3
