CTTR Master and Spyro 2 Master
I was thinking about tackling this. I've been practicing. This requires a lot of planning. My Spyro 2 run I cannot resume for a while so this is my project. My current route(level 1 only)
Segment 1:
Cola caper
S-M-R-T
Savewarp to Simpsons house to save time
Segment 2:
Coin hunt
Wager Race
Petty Theft Homer
Savewarp to Simpsons house
Segment 3:
Buy Plow King
Office Spaced(finish near phone booth to change back to Family Sedan)
Go to Power plant
Blind Big Brother
Savewarp to Simpsons house for a massive timesaver.
Segment 4:
Flowers by Irene
Bonestorm Storm
Drive to Power Plant
The Fat and the Furious
Save/Quit

That's it so far I've been practicing level 1. That wager race gives me shit I won't put up with so I'm practicing it. The worst thing is all the cars that come and stop you in your path. I'll keep you updated. If any one knows any shortcuts then please tell me and I accept any help so please help me with this run if you wanna see good stuff:D

Plenty of racing missions are chock full of shortcuts.. run a mission slowly and look for alternate routes. by slowly I mean really slowly. Always keep an eye out for an opening in the fence or a gap between trailers. Also krusty glass.

also, an optimal run would collect loads of coins while doing missions, so that once a new car or something needs unlocking, you ahve the coins ready to go. Skim a tree or pole on phone booth, if you didn't know, to get the coins but keep your hit and run meter the same.

There's a thread on H&R several pages down, I myself am working on one as well, currently practicing Level 4 (coins are a bitch to get later on).  Also, why do the wager race?  I've never done those as they're a pain in the butt and never actually completed one.  Personally, I think those are pointless in a run anyhow.

Still, I see no point in doing the wager races aside from monetary reasons in a run.

With the Family Sedan I can do the wager race in under 2:30. Well worth it. For the Fat and the Furious, push Carl into the Power plant with your car then talk to him and you only have to drive through the Power Plant and beat the mission a lot quicker.

Carl into the plant is a pain to pull off consistently, partly lining him up to push him in, and partly because if you're not quick enough to trigger the conversation as he gets up he gets respawned back to the parking lot.

Yeah but when you do it it saves loads of time so its well worth doing.
