I play the game with an integrated card, I play the game at lowest settings (640X480, low visuals), I also have fraps at half size. There is no lag at all recording and the quality is perfect. It looks the same with my settings up, so you should have no problem with it.
Tonight I will have the first section (Past Green Sabre) recorded. I'm hoping to beat my previous record of 1hr 52 min, and tomorrow I will be done with badlands and maybe some of San Fiero.
Hopefully no one minds a little bit of a lot of segments, I'm thinking somewhere around 80... yep... 80. Just Kidding, but seriously.

If you want me to upload them that is fine, the only thing I could really do is put them up on google video as one file, but id rather wait till I get to badlands and put them up in regular game segments, like badlands, san fiero, and so on.

It took 18 segments to get to the badlands, but I made it there in 1hr and 48 min game time, and 8 hours of real time straight. I put them all into one video, I still have the original files right from fraps. It will be up at like 8pm when its done with movie maker and uploading to google.

I done segment 2, and it went like.. 3/4 good.. Good things are the missions, they went preety fast besides robbing uncle sam, those bastard shot hole on my tires. And i loss mouch hp on Sweets girl, so i had to eat some snacks in Catalyst.

Is it alright for rain to stop all my sound for the last 10 sec of a video, or will i have to do it again? The only sound that is missing at the finish of Local Liquor Store when CJ says "it's a long story, but I need some serious paper, fast". That and the sounds of the menu from saving are missing, and thats it.

some comments on your 18 segments (ill edit while watching)
- why do you steal a car? its faster if you take the bike
- on the first mission you cycle on the left side, got that trick from me :P? oh you dont cycle on the left side, therefore you got shot ^_^
- on tagging up turf you can jump directly up on the roof (watch my segment 1 to see what im meaning)
- in cleaning the hood you can shoot the drugdealer before the cutscene is triggered (just shoot him from long-range)
- on drive-thru you can just shoot the guy thats shooting back at you, when he dies the other guy exit the vehicle
- WHY THE **** would you save 2 vehicles in the garage if not use one of them in "sweets girl" !! (oh you needed weapons :D)
- on the mission cesar vialpando you amused me for the first time
didnt think you would take that shortcut through fences (but im 3 minutes faster than you at this point :/ and i think my time is improvable with like 2 minutes here already)

Yea the first couple of minutes when I do 1 mission at a time are kinda boring but after that it gets good. I also watched you video of tagging up turf and I've tried it many times and I haven't been lucky. I was tired of doing so many retries just to do the jump that I just took the long way.
It took me at least like 200 retries all together in the video. The main reason why I save so much is to ensure that if I make a mistake later on I don't have to go back to far from each save. It allows me to push my luck and make my run faster.
If you just watch the parts of the video I recommended you'll see little shortcuts that Ive found (and have seen). I took what I saw in NTG's video on OG Loc and took it a step further by shooting 'the biker' as he comes towards you, I was amazed that I actually killed him when I saw his bike explode just over the hill.
Time to finish up the badlands.
I just finished Badlands, ill upload the video tonight otherwise I have to wait for the video to be made into one with movie maker. LAG. Hopefully I will finish San Fiero Tonight. My time Right now is 2hrs 34 min. Ive got the game almost all down pact in my mind. The only area that is gonna take a while is right after I get back to the first isle.
I will say that I've never BEAT the game. I decided to make the speedrun after I got to the last mission.
