alright made some tweaks and grinded on this one. this is the most optimized segments I'm doing.

Okay, I kinda half-watched (half-paying attention to) the first segment htere and didn't at least notice big mistakes. You seemed to find that really fast car a lot too. Maybe it's accept-level now? Keep up the good work!

this segment had RNG scattered in different times. the early parts problem was trying to get a fast car spawn close by. also I used as much time I have during the 10 mins; did 1 hit mission, bought the required Bomb, robbed 2 banks  in one go which is very risky with low health & got some dynamite before the phone rang. also the cutscene skip glitched for cutscenes worked about 30% - 90%. the truck in mission 10 spawn is also RNG but luckily it was close enough to the Clemenza's location.
Sounds like you're thinking the right way now. Lolteabag. 17:12 - would there have been a faster way to get the car? 18:10 lololol wut? Looks like you really used the time efficiently. You got some of the cutscene skips very quickly too didn't you? First-second try. Keep it up!

if you are asking about segment 3, sometimes when I park near the merchant fast and close he would crouch away from me which I can't talk to him so the only way I found to make him sell is to grab him which causes merchant to counter attack me then talk to him as if nothing happened. its funny how merchants are the only NPCs immune to my grab hold.


the horseplay mission was easy but I couldn't fin a way to skip the sneaking.



driving Michael to the docks was tricky but found an easy route to avoid getting rammed while cornering.

I did the 6th segment but hesitant about it since in the late part I got overpowered by the rival mob car on the way ( at 06:35 ). it cost about 4 - 6 seconds a minor loss.

segments 7 & 8





made a decision that defending the compound which isn't a normal mission a segment on its own. very short but taking out those asap Cuneo's was very complex because of how they react to friendly NPCs which also react randomly. plus the cutscene skip glitch was good despite taking 5 early tries which is the best I could do.


got very great RNG in this mission. usually I get 2 cars chasing behind which can overturn my car that could result in time loss. thankfully they came towards me and under steered around the corner giving me space to evade them easily.


this one was really difficult all thanks having to drive in a tight highway while being chased by infinite respawning enemy NPC cars.
segments 11 & 12





The casino robbery had so many cops so I used molotovs to create safe area. I had to reset couple times until I got the parked car around the hotel to spawn closer, they usually either spawn far ahead or closer. I found it faster to skip the sneaking when assassinating Moe. it saved about 10 seconds compared to sneaking.

finally did the final mission though with few minor mistakes. I'll try another few more attempts to try to get lower time than this.

alright with these segmented runs I got a time of approximately 3:08:14. I think that is as good as it gets so far.

Awesome run! I really need to look into this game. Haven't played it since... ever! Would love to speedrun it!
trying to ind new strats and hopefully glitch exploits. mean time I found this minor skip, I assumed it would cause mission failure from going outside the mission area but luckily it didn't for this one. saving few seconds only.
off topic this is weird thing I found while glitch hunting/strat/rerouting. it only ends up mission failure rather than completing them faster way but still funny Tongue
