Thanks for the marathon! [locked]

First, I want to say thanks for the marathon this year and the one previously. You guys have done an awesome job raising money for a good cause. I know it can't be easy putting together and running an event like this, so kudos to everyone that put in the hard work.

The following may not, and probably does not, apply to you. If you're offended by it, it more than likely does though.

Stop being such pricks. Do you really feel it necessary to openly insult your donators, especially those that are just offering suggestions on how to improve the marathon in the future? I can understand the frustration. If you're going to be in the public eye, you should be able to handle yourself better. Insinuating that your donors are idiots is not a good way to increase donations. So, if you truly do give a damn about raising more funds, knock it the fuck off.

Uh...

I'm not sure why you think we're pricks or that we're openly insulting the people that donated. Every single donation was greatly appreciated and thanks were given out for all of them. If you're referring to the locked thread, the reasons for actually locking that thread are completely valid.

If you aren't, then I am genuinely confused as to the reason of this thread. Nobody has insulted the donators of the marathon or insinuated that they are idiots. 90% of the suggestions in the locked thread are obvious suggestions that I find insulting that people would think we haven't already thought of. Of course, there are a few good suggestions for the next marathon and you can rest assured that any future marathons that will be organized will take those into consideration.

Also, I personally donated four times to the marathon, and as a donator I do not feel like I'm being called an idiot for doing so. You shouldn't try adding weight to your argument by claiming that is the case. >_>

I rate this suggestion a 1/10.

This comment does not provide us with any suggestion for improvement, and starts the thread on a bad path of derision and petty criticism that goes nowhere.

Decision: Reject.

P.S. If you really thought the viewers and suggestions topic had really had suggestions from donators, lolololololololol. Check the posts, they're almost all SDA regulars. Actually, I would really like constructive criticism from donators who normally don't post on the forums, since they might have better suggestions than SCHEDULE SCHEDULE SCHEDULE.
