So I've just started getting into doing a TAS, I'm doing a TAS of Mega Man

I'm using the emulator BizHawk and I wanted to rewatch the TAS, but when I watched it I accidently didn't stop it, currently it's at the Frame 17675/17980

Is there a way to write over the rest of the movie so I can continue the TAS or do I really have to start over?
Thread title:
Not sure exactly what the issue is?

If it's not letting you record over the movie you're playing back, make sure you don't have it set to "read only" which is the default.  Pretty sure the hotkey to switch it to "read/write" is "Q".

If you've gone past the point you want to re-record, the easiest way is to just use a savestate.  You should have made one where you left off, just load it up and it'll automatically start up from there(assuming you're on read/write as above).

If you're worried about extra stuff from watching the movie, don't be.  Once you load the state, it'll erase everything that happened after it.  I'm still new to TASing as well, so I make sure to have tons of extra savestates for any point I feel I may need to come back to.  Unfortunately, once you go back, you have to redo anything you did after that point, but that's how it goes.

Hopefully, one of these answered your question.  If not, you might want to go to the TASvideos forum for assistance.  They are much more knowledgeable over there.
