I spent about five hours recording attempted speedruns on Super C tonight without any success. Those fucking bubbles at the beginning of stage four can blow me.
I thought I'd follow Croc-Doc's example and write my comments while at work. It was the only constructive thing I did at work all day. Yeah, I like to stick it to The Man like that.

That's the way! Funny thing though, since I actually work for the federal government, I'm only sticking it to myself.
I would never reject that run. The only thing I didn´t like about that run is the final boss fight. You can jump up closer to hes eye and kill him maybe 5-10 seconds faster.. I can´t tell more time savers now. But If I recall. I couldn´t see any more then a few seconds maybe, and some more luck and tighter kills of the random enemies (wich still was good and very risky sometimes.)
In other words. I loved this run But good luck if you are ready to improve it.
Same here, but I didn't like how you waited by the 5th boss.
According to the TAS, the fifth boss isn't immediately vulnerable when it appears on the screen. I tested this theory, and it seems to be true. If you watch the TAS, the boss doesn't become vulnerable until it reaches the spot on the screen where the players start shooting it, which is approximately the same spot I start shooting it in my run. Supposedly, you can hit the boss sooner, but you won't cause any damage.
1. Is there any other way to do that boss with the 4 spinning turrets that rises from the ground and shoots 4 bullets out of the turrets (i think its level 3's boss) with just the pea shooter?
2. What exactly was the reason that you went when you did in the bubble area after shooting for a while? Was there a certain pattern that allowed you to pass safely or something else?

Marvelous effort :-)
1. Yeah, you can do it by not missing the middle so much. In the run, I finished off the boss right before the turrets moved for the 4th time. Ideally, I should've done it before the 3rd, for a gain of about 6 seconds. At least that's what I've experienced in other attempts. I had no real strategy other than continuously shooting the middle and not dying. I tried to manipulate the turret bullets somewhat, but as you can see in my run, I didn't have much luck. I was doing ok until I think the fourth set of turret shots. It looks like I got overwhelmed at that point, which made me have to get my bearings and get back into the groove.
2. In the beginning of Level 4, I think I was able to get through both bubble shooters without stopping once in about one billion tries. For the first bubble shooter (and likely the other one too), there are like 3 or so different ways the bubbles can come out. In one of the scenarios, you can't run through without getting hit. In previous attempts, the odds were usually in my favor. Instead of risking it I decided to pop a few shots underneath before moving ahead, which, to answer your question, seems to always work, regardless of which way the bubbles come out. I wasted only like 1 or 2 seconds doing that though so I didn't mind not taking the risk.
Thanks for your kind words too. I'm surprised you even knew my run was up, since the news post didn't make much of it, unlike your recent poetic Sonic 2 update. Well, I guess beggars can't be choosers (right Mike?)

This run was so awesome it made me forget the difference between Aquatallion and Kustera while watching it. Awesome job! 8)
Yea, for being the only new game in the news post, and one of the best runs that I've seen in a while, that one sentence sure didn't seem like enough. Ah well, people will find out about it anyhow :-).
Maybe something like:
Super C, oh how I love thee Buff shirtless men, shooting with glee Croc Doc mashes, with only a pea shooter While Red Falcon cries, "but i'm the computer!"
I watching that video. I don,t have this game, but i like watch/play contra series games.
I think this was pretty nice run. But yeah almost all bosses looks pretty easy. There is lot very short boss fights. Much shorter than Super Probotector boss fights. Only level 7 boss looks bit hard. It was reason why game looks bit easy because everythin else boss fights took under 30 seconds beat.
Is it anybody planned speedrun Super Probotector (SNES) low-% hard mode runs? I think it is very hardcore/almost impossible game beat withouts weapons and without dying on hard mode. Super Probotector bosses took forever time beat.
It game caused much trouble for me when i beat it on hard mode with weapons. But i think nobody don,t can beat that without weapons. If somebody can du that i really want see it video next.
This is next contra low-% challenge from you Croc-doc. It is probably coolest one, because Super probotector includes very long and hard boss fights.
