OoT Rocks!
Hello,
I am Jordan, aka GenuineCorruption. Some of you may remember me from a few years back as the blind gamer who completed Zelda OoT with the help of Runnerguy2489 (and others).
In mid-December I started chatting with Aithere during one of his SO3 streams. This was one of the games that I wanted to play so he and I started meeting over Skype and working through it.
For the next three months or so he and I got together on skype for a couple of hours about once a week and in that time we managed to make it as far as the Passage from Parch to Plenty.
Generally he would write out some instructions and then our Skype meeting time would be used to test and refine them. The result is a repeatable sequence of instructions which can be used to navigate through the game's maps and menus with no vision whatsoever.
Unfortunately, the Star Ocean relay this past Saturday (April 16, 2016 for historical reference) as well as some other really bad luck during some of his recent speed runs have very much turned him off the game, and so I am looking for some additional assistance to advance further.
Fortunately, most of the hard parts (hauler, box rooms, etc.) have already been figured out, and there will likely be no item creation to worry about (except for some possible experimentation at some point).
There are also plenty of reusable direction sets which have already been written (for instance navigating through and between all of the towns between Airiglyph and Aquios) which can just be copy/pasted in as needed. I just need instructions for the rest of the new areas starting with Passage from Parch to Plenty.
Once this project is complete I will be streaming the entire game on Twitch, and everyone who participated in making it possible will definitely be given credit.
Please reply if you would be willing to attempt this. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Kind regards,

Jordan.

Hi all, just wanted to pitch into what was already said.

The game is quite easy to route in terms of steps -- for battles, a general strategy suffices. As Jordan explained before, a lot of the hard parts were already figured out so the only thing needed is someone to finish the step route for the second half of the game. Jordan's very easy to work with and the game would probably be finished routed already if it wasn't for my own time constraints (as well as my current distaste with the game) so if anyone can help to finish the routing (and it doesn't have to just be one person), it would be appreciated.
