Hi everyone,

Me and my friend love to watch speedruns.
We both like to watch AGDQ and SGDQ.
As well speedrunners on twitch by themselves.

Because of that we love it so much, we came with an idea to organise
something like that on our own.

The games that we would most likely want, are the Mario games and the legend of Zelda.

We would like to do this for charity.
We haven't decided which one yet.

For the moment we've decided to make it a one day event.
Also we would welcome any speedrunner from beginner to pro.

So to conclusion I wanted to ask if people would be interested in this.

Just to let you know for the time it's only an idea. If people would be interested in this
me and my friend will start and take action to make this really happen.

(Location would be in the Netherlands near Eindhoven)

Sounds like a Nintendathon to me, but if you opened it up to Nintendo franchises, then you'd have to include Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and similar, which sounds like something you don't want.

I think the premise sounds interesting, but unfortunately I myself do not run games well enough from either franchise. As a viewer, I would find this interesting.

Thank you for showing interest and the suggestions.
We would ofcourse accept other games from the Nintendo franchise so for anyone reading, do not feel discouraged to reply if you don't play Zelda or Mario games.
