Sneak Squeaker in battle hits multiple enemies, i'm assuming?(Haven't really messed around with farts much)

Yep AOE, ignores shields. Not too sure on armor but with 4 ability stacks, bleed/burn/gross on bishop i was able to do 7-8.8k with sneaky squeaker on fighter with 10% ability patch

The main things that aren't up to date are the Minister of Montreal Skip (not sure how the farts are used to skip the dialogue), new Kenny strats, and how to activate the glitch that causes cutscene animations to not load properly (not sure how this works). I'll edit these things in if I can get an explanation.
I'm sure there are little things missing too.

Also, anyone interested in gaining editting ability for the doc, post up!

I think bringing butters is still faster than kyle by at least 5 seconds... I bring Kyle because Kyle can die in one hit to the rainbow attack OR the vomit. The fight is exactly the same (minus one less heal since you have a meat shield).

The "break every cutscene skip" can be done on the first time you use the flag by your house. The first time you use it you get a mini-Timmy cutscene. This cutscene can be skipped before it starts (as soon as you click on a flag). If you do it fast enough you will go straight to a load screen and break every cutscene in the game.

The NPCs don't load in correctly during cutscenes, and some cutscenes have no background/wrong background. The unskippable cutscenes are still unskippable :(. You loose the glitch when you reload the game when you do slave skip.

Now Reap The Whirlwind!

Been working on learning this game and been using the Google docs guide to do it. It's very well done and been a great resource, but I think you should add the following:

-Getting the Glass Shard from the hallway monitors in the Faculty Only room at the school.
-The Timmy cutscene skip is mentioned in the wrong place. You don't do it after you see the Goth's the first time, you do it when you fast travel to the school after the Alien Abuduction.
-An explanation of the glitches and tricks, like the Gnome pause cancel and the cutscene breaking glitch.

That's all. I hope to contribute to this thread soon.

Thanks Stormknight, I've edited the Doc since Butter's given me editing permissions and made some changes that you have mentioned.

Glitches and Tricks.. will be quite a bit of explanation. I'll bug Butters to open a section that explains glitches (useful and non-useful) to there. I don't think I am the best at typing these up but I can try to give it a shot. There isn't many so far, just many applications of text skips by farting on NPC's and animation cancels by opening inventory.

Ryuken so far has a video for the gist of the route (http://www.twitch.tv/ryuken1315/c/3898150) but route has changed quite a bit since he had made the video (over a month ago).

Status so far: still working on that sub 1:18 run for SDA Submission. Its going to require good execution + a perfect school run + good Jimmy Luck (bleh RNG :|).

The time saved from the new(er) sneaky squeaker strategies only save 20-30 seconds, which can be easily lost to bad RNG at Jimmy or overall slower execution.

I guess I should mention the sneaky squeaker strategies here:

SneakySqueaker - Costs 80 Mana, deals roughly 1k to 1.2k dmg when you learn it (scales up as you level, but you don't use it late game on the mage route).

Distracts Enemies (enemies lose one turn, basically a stun, does not work on bosses).
Deals AOE Dammage (Hits all enimies on feild no matter where you land it)
PERICES ARMOUR (This makes this ability god-like against armoured foes)
Roughly Same Cast Animation as a DragonsBreath (Did not time it, but its around the same amount of time.. may be shorter?)

Places to use it:

- First Ginger - Nazi Ginger Fight (DB the back ginger since he has 2.2k health, then it should deal 1k to everyone to clean the field).
- Gnomes (First nome fight, Second Nome Fight, Third Nome Fight) + (may be possible to use it on the Warlock then follow up with DB have not tested it..)
- When you fight the girls outside to help Annie.

This will require 4 Mana Potions + 1 Small Mana Potions (2 if use a fart attack the entire game, but I use one at aliens now.. ).

Which can be acquired by opening Jimmy's Fridge (Small Mana) + Looting Jimmy ( 2 Mana Pots + Small) + Opening the Grill with the 10dmg patch ( 2 Mana Pots). All of this is either not too far off the route.

Remember to have at least one small pot for Kenny fight (don't use them all!)

Other Places for possible Mana Pots close to the route (Medium or Large) - Guaranteed:

- Chest in the Post Office
- Butter's Corpse
- Chest on the outside before Craig Fight

Good places to get mana pots/speed pots (sub optimal, or pure RNG, will save you time buying):

- Elves in Jimmy's Basement during Craig Heal
- Anti-mage Corpse
- Alien Ship: In Chest hidden in Door in Randy's room (has one speed pot too)
- Alien's Corpses when randy is talking
- Alien's Prison Guard
- Gnome's Corpses
- Nazi Gnomes in abortion Clinic

Just pointing out some version differences. Mainly that the PC version is most likely the fastest. I've been practicing on the Xbox 360 version and from what I've seen from the WR video, PC is better. There are quicker menus and faster loading times. Also, if you do the break cutscenes glitch, the game will freeze if you try to skip certain cutscenes, starting on when you go to fight Cartman or Kyle at the school. Overall, if you're going to run this, I'd recommend using PC.

Another thing I want to point out is something I did while playing casually. I was about to fight the Sparrow Prince and I switched buddies just before. When the game was still switching buddies, I walked into the trigger area for the Sparrow Prince fight and skipped his cutscene, going straight to the battle. I haven't been able to replicate this, but I haven't really been trying. It could be something useful.

Wow that's actually a nice find. I can see how this can glitch out the game a bit, since for a brief second you technically do not have a buddy at all. I've experienced this too when having buddy command out, and you switch partners, your buddy command will not work for the first couple of clicks coming out of menu. (it is fairly brief, but noticeable).

I don't have time to play around with this at the moment, so someone with a bit of time may find this to lead to some new skips.

I can see many places where it is similar to (cutscene before fight) sparrow prince fight, and might be worth-while to try out:

I've been out of the loop for awhile but I wanted to say congrats PHEN on the WR! And double congrats for holding onto it from Zander for an extended period of time hahaha! I am going to go through a bunch of the new finds and see if I can figure anything else out to make sub 1:18 even more feasible, btw does broken cutscene ever actually save time?

I think Zander might be out of loop too due to AGDQ and practicing Link between Worlds.

The current WR has a couple of nasty mistakes during the goths segment... but it has a VERY good start that I've been having trouble getting again. Don't be put off by the fact you may be 30 seconds behind right off the start (mostly due to perfect fights + move optimizations)... I can't even get a run that good again.

I'm sure someone is bound to beat it again.

You want to go into Mr Slave's Room holding SPRINT,and LEFT. Also make sure you are holding SKIP after letting go at least once (double tap it entering the door). If you get it right your screen will blink during the cutscene. Theres some videos in this thread that explain it well if you dig a bit.

Side note:

Found a new softlock.. Going into Kyle's you can apparently walk into his kitchen during the cutscene. This has a weird side effect that you will have no buddy at all leaving Kyles. (But I did reload also.)

The skip is quite easy to do. If it's not working then you might have the newest patch which got rid of it.

Is the NTSC or PAL version of this game the fastest? I know the PAL version of the game has an entire scene cut out of it due to censorship so I would imagine it would end up being faster but I don't know for certain.

Firstly, just want to introduce myself to you guys. I'm jakeroc20 and this is my first time using SDA. I've been a long time viewer of speedruns but never pulled the trigger on trying my own runs until now. I decided I wanted to give the Stick of Truth a go since it's a game I wouldn't mind playing over and over again. I've been using routing notes that I found on this thread and wanted to say thanks, they've been extremely helpful. My only issue is that, I'm almost through my first runthrough and am at the part where you would normally do the Mr. Slave skip. After dozens of failed attempts, I did a little research and discovered the skip was patched. I'm playing on the Steam version of this game, I just wanted to verify that there's no way of unpatching a Steam game is there? If not, is there an alternative I could use? Sorry for such a long post, but I'm really trying to make my way into the community and would really appreciate any advice yall could offer. Thanks!

As far as I know there is no way to unpatch it on steam, this is the reason I stopped running this game...I would have loved to continue but I did not know of a good way to get an unpatched version to play on.
