Come on guys, someone post something. Anything.

I'm cold and lonely and lost.

And I can't get on IRC yet.

And I can't download any of the latest demos.

Just somebody please say something...

Why don't you start working on a quake comic strip if you've got nothing to do? Make it serious this time, in full colour and all, with all speedrunners and quake monsters as characters in it.

Oh and when are you coming back online? What's the dealio? Morfans got a raw deal with the ISP's?

Well, we could try to get CGI-IRC working, I guess

How come you can post here then?
Hey Ho Let's Go
Heh, seems like you're stuck in the same situation as me Skiddy-O, it sucks doesn't it  Wink

Anyways, I'm expecting to be online again within 7-10 days! yeeehaaaw!
mwh: Okay, I can indeed download the big.dz, but I can't get it from here to my parents' house so I can't actually watch them. I might be able to burn them to CD, I suppose... This is also stopping me spending the long, dull evenings catching up on my recam work...

CGI-IRC sounds like a good idea. :-)

Mandel: You have no idea just how bad my artwork is! Good idea, though.

Stubbz: YAY!

Ah, the joys of the internet cafe?

And: your parents don't even have a modem??

I'll see what I can do.  I wouldn't hold your breath, though Smiley

Morfans, what you seem to need is an USB flash drive. They're cheap... Even the smallest available size would be sufficient to move a couple of demo files between computers.

Also, you can get them with mp3 playback functionality but that costs extra. Cool if you want to listen to Slayer, Mozart, Radiohead, Metallica, Slayer, Macy Gray, Beethoven, Slayer, etc. independent of your whereabouts!
Hmm, I appear to have something like CGI-IRC working.  I don't want to let any greasy passer-by use it, though -- are you reading morfans@planetquake.com at the moment?  I've sent details there, anyway.
I can't get to morfans@pq because I'd have to use the webmail frontend which uses a port blocked at the firewall.

I've mailed you my work address :-)

Mandel: Great idea. Although I don't really listen to Macy or Mozart any more. They started to bore me. Mostly just Slayer and Beethoven these days...
