fast video games
Hello everyone! Some of you may have heard of the event SmashTheRecord (or STR for short), or perhaps you haven't. Its an event held in Florida that started in 2014 as an attempt to break a world record for longest time spent playing a fighting game.
The following year at StR2015, we decided to incorporate speedrunning into the event just to have something fun as an addition. It was our first attempt and despite some difficulties we managed to have some cool stuff happen, as well as some runs that were really entertaining! So with as good as last year was, we are hoping this year will be even more exciting! The event's proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Some things to keep in mind about submissions:
-Feel free to submit multiple games - I know our doc is designed for one submission at a time but feel free to submit multiple ones if you want to submit more than one game
-Make sure to fill in the required info! - Make sure everything you submit is there and correct so we may get in contact with you if we have any issues or concerns
-Submissions are going for a while - I encourage you to submit if you are interested, but if you aren't certain right away don't worry! You have plenty of time
-Submit what you like! - It doesn't matter if your game is popular, who you are, or if you have the best time or not. I encourage ANYONE to submit, there is no harm done if you try. Who knows you may even make the cut!
Submissions will go from now until August 1st
