I don't think I've ever started a thread like this before, but if you remember, there was a SiN run published just a couple of updates ago. It was a segmented run on normal. It got me playing the game myself, and I realized there was a lot more to it than the runner had known about. It has Q2 physics give or take some stuff, which means you've got your circle jumping, "trilling" (sometimes called zigzagging) and wallstrafes, and various types of boosts all of which should guarantee there's plenty of challenge in running it. Utilizing all this stuff and a bunch of extra skips and things, you could make a much much faster run whether segmented or not.

In addition, to my knowledge no-one has looked at 100% routes, SS, second difficulty setting and the expansion, which means there's a lot of virgin soil to explore. I've made a good summary of all I found in a new Strategy Guide. This is the thread as well. You can get up-to-date on SiN running just by playing the game, watching the current run (also posted in the thread), reading the guide, and reading my long message that's currently the last, where my notes are.
