Greetings once again everyone. This thread is for everyone out there who needs to find roomates or is looking for a room that might need an extra person to fill it at SGDQ 2015.
First and foremost this thread contains all the information on how to book your room at the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul where SGDQ will be held: https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/sgdq_2015_hotel_reservations.html
For some quick reminders here are the important things to note when looking for roomates and planning to book a room:
-Dates for SGDQ are July 26-August 1st. You can get the discounted room rate any night between July 24th and August 3rd.
-The Discounted Rate for SGDQ hotel rooms is $119.00 per night, with the tax this totals to $135.22 per night.
-The person who is booking the room must be at least 18 years old to do so.
-The maximum number of people to a room is 4.
If you are seeking roomates post in this thread with the following information:
-Your name
-The Dates you intend to stay at SGDQ
-If you are intending to be the one booking the room
-How many roomates you are looking for
If you see anyone else who might work as a potential roomate then please use the PM system here at SDA to contact that person and attempt to arrange rooming with one another. I will be keeping a running list in this first post of people who are seeking roomates and what dates they are looking for during the event. Please do not post back and forth in this thread trying to finalize your roomates as that leads to a lot of clutter and confusion for those looking through the list. I will not be doing any matchmaking here, but i will do my best to keep an up to date list for those who are seeking roomates.
If you have a finalized room that is either full or you are satisfied with the number of people in the room (again, do not exceed 4, the hotel will not allow it), then please make a post here listing who is in the room and who is booking the room so that I can remove those people from the list of those still searching for roomates.
If you have any questions or need clarification on anything involving the hotel remember to read the hotel booking thread first. If you need further information feel free to PM me and I will do my best to help get you a clear answer. If you have questions about the roomate thread in general you can post that with your information about the potential roomate list.
While the deadline to find a roomate will probably be later than July 6th that is the last day you can book a room, so it would be wise to have your roomate situation sorted prior to that date.
