that Metroidvania guy
Once again, we'll be using a form to submit prizes, but there are a few important details to consider, so make sure to read through the guidelines first!
Here is the form to submit prizes: http://bombch.us/gCw
The deadline for submissions will be June 15, which is a week before SGDQ. If you are making/obtaining a prize and don't believe you will meet this deadline, talk to me beforehand through any of my usual contact methods (SDA PM, SRL IRC, @romscoutSDA on Twitter) and I'll see if we can work it out.

As you can see, I will not be posting all of the form's info on this table. This is just so people can see everything that will be available to win at SGDQ!
After making submissions, feel free to bump the thread with a pic of your prize so that everyone can be more excited for it! :3 You can also use this thread for prize suggestions, posting progress for your creations, or general inquiries about prizes.
GUIDELINES
- Make sure to check out the schedule for ideas of games that should have prizes or which game your prize should be attached to.
- We do not accept digital prizes in most cases. Expect any Steam codes, etc. that you submit to be rejected. That being said, a few exceptions have been made before, so if you want to submit a digital prize that you feel is valuable enough to warrant inclusion in SGDQ's lineup, check with me first (SDA PM, SRL IRC, Twitter, etc.). If this is accepted, it will most likely be used as a social media prize.
- As of right now, the plan is for donors to once again mail out prizes and be reimbursed for the shipping. Please be prepared to handle this, and SAVE YOUR SHIPPING RECEIPTS when you send the prize out after the event so that we can proceed with the reimbursement. If you have a particularly valuable prize and feel it would be better suited for being shown on-site during the event, let me know and I'll see about it.
- A difference between this form and previous ones is that we are no longer asking for your recommended donation bid to win the prize. Instead, we are asking for the actual estimated value of the prize. This will help us make more informed decisions about what the minimum bids should be. If you are making the prize by hand, estimate what you would sell the item for if you were being commissioned to make it.
- Pictures are super important, especially since the majority of prizes will not be on-site. Make sure that any pictures you submit through the form will have valid URLs through the end of SGDQ. We won't be hosting the images ourselves. We recommend using a site like http://imgur.com/ for simple hosting.
If you have any other questions, let me know.
