Now that SDA is growing larger and larger every day, I was wondering if the game list is going to change anytime soon. Like, having it organized by system or something like that.
Thread title:
I'm addicted to games
eventually i'll offer the game list in multiple formats.
TIOLET!
I was just thinking of suggesting somewhat the same thing when I saw this thread.

I definetely like the idea of having the list organised in another way than it is now. Right now it looks very messy IMO, specially if your resolution in the OS is of the lower sort (1024x768 or lower).

I'd like to see some flashy icon which says "NEW" to each new speedrun so you instantly know which ones you don't have.

That sounds impossible to do. The game list doesn't track where the downloads go, many of them are just links to other sites, and setting up a user system for the game list would be difficult and unnecessary. Just check the news for updates.

And for organizing the game list Radix, maybe you could offer it by category buttons, like "List Games by (Name) / (Date) / (System) / (Series)", and click on one to list it that way. Just a thought.

Edit: in noticing that the games are already basically set up this way, albeit all at once, you could still follow my method with sub-category buttons of games falling under each category, taking visitors to secondary pages. If this doesn't make sense, just disregard it.

Sort by Time would be good as well.

Of course, this all depends on whether you have a database of runs, and what columns are in the database.
